the man was a discrete specimen created with material taken from the Earth's soil, whereas the
woman was constructed with material taken from the man's body

In a nutshell: the man and the woman weren't siblings. Their relationship
was more along the lines of a father and daughter than a brother and sister.
Anon, it became a requirement that parents be treated as a child's superiors.

Ex 20:12 . . Honor your father and your mother

Christians are not exempt from that rule.

Eph 6:1-2 . . Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor
your father and mother.

I don't know what all this says to others, but it says to me that progressive
women are little more than insolent Bratz.

1 Cor 7:12 To the rest I say this (I, not the Lord): If a brother has an unbelieving wife
and she is willing to live with him, he must not divorce her. 13 And if a woman has
an unbelieving husband and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him.
Divorce was never meant to be, at least I see this truth, yet divorce is going on with people trying to be God. The fight seems to be who is in charge. Sin, is a spirit that fights God in order to be God, I see this at least me, I dimd before seeing born again by God not self or anyone else.
As Woman was created from the rib of Adam the first. Noting: she was created from the side as an equal to Adam the first. Not better or under Adam the first. A help-mate, not a slave, even though she was deceived to eat first, then Adam whether deceived or not, matters not, he ate also, right there with her. Sin entered "Unbelief" or "Belief"has come unto all flesh ever since, seeing, God gives a choice to believe in risen Son or not, everyone consciously aware of this, therefore no one has an excuse to say, they did not know, it is written on everyone's heart.
God created us all to be equals. Might be time to believe God and see this truth of unconditional love from God in 1 Cor 13:4-7, that gets imputed in all, by God, those that will not quit belief, denying God, no matter what troubles happen to them, past, present or future. ask self will you continue, no matter what troubles come against you?
Jesus thought it not robbery to be equal with Dad, Hmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so once born new, again by God in risen Son, are we not equaled to be equal not above or below also?
Everyone gets to believe as each decides to believe or not, and be free or not in love to all, no matter who, thank you
yet no one has to live k\like a refugee, do we?

Some parts of the world are over-crowded, while other parts have few people.
Is this ever true? Or is it always mismanagement and theft? I tend toward belief in the latter. (Sure, cities can be overcrowded, but they're often (always?) situated in countries with plenty of space, if not for government/corporate mismanagement and corruption).

God is merciful from day one in the first Adam, amazing grace, God is amazing, y'all, to me at least as I have gone through many troubles, still standing in trust, no matter what, hoping for all others to do the same personally, between God and them too

Matt 5:31-32 . . It has been said: Anyone who divorces his wife must give
her a certificate of divorce. But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife,
except for marital unfaithfulness, causes her to become an adulteress, and
anyone who marries the divorced woman commits adultery.

For a while here @ home in the USA, youngster's were getting married on an
experimental basis via so-called starter marriages with the expectation that
their first attempt will probably fail.

Christian men cannot be doing that! If there is any doubt, any doubt at all
that the girl on your horizon may not be right for you, then it's best to
reckon she isn't rather than rolling the dice and risk coming up with snake
eyes instead of a 7 or 11.

This is it. Modern world feminist movement has just brainwashed everyone away from traditional values.

This is not something unique to Paul. It was common culture pretty much everywhere. The way God ordained it.

I blame the western sexual revolution and introduction of birth control. In a natural state these "im a woman hear me roar" types would be a lot less yappy and 'empowered' as they would be constantly pregnant.

The muslim world is also slipping into feminism as of late, it will happen worldwide, feminism, LGBT mania, why? Because it will be like the days of Lot, like the days of Noah prior to Jesus return. So get ready fellas.
Why blame anything on Women? You would have never been born if there were no Women. Why go against Nature and blame females for the world's problems? The Lord God wired the genetic code of the males to protect females? Are you void of compassion for your wife?

Why do so many Christians believe that all scripture is inspired by God yet disagree with Paul?
Dear Sir, understanding the Bible and ancient civilisations of "Rome" takes some learning. Are you a professor of world History? And if not, what level of education have you achieved?

Why would anyone deny it as a possibility?
Do you remember Mosses? After his beloved wife passed, Mosses chose to marry an Ethiopian Woman. The Roman women had no rights in their marriage laws. If her husband were to die before her, The wife would not inherit anything of her husband's estate. These women would have been at the mercy of males next to inherit her husband's entire estate. Nothing was given to his widow without the mercy of a male heir giving it to her.

Yes, laws like that have passed down through the ages, also...

I've come to the conclusion that Adam didn't love his wife and, in Adam's defense, Eve didn't respect him. And this is what Paul is addressing four thousand years later. To save us all this controversy, when presented with the fruit, Eve should've said, "let my husband eat first, and only then will I eat it also." But neither of them had the spirit of Christ, nor were they able to receive him, att. They had to be cleansed from their nature, which was 'very good' but was not 'whole,' as there is no one that can be without Christ. The tree only disclosed what was(n't) within them all along.

1Cor 11:3 . . But I would have you know, that the head of every man is
Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is
God.

It never seems to fail that somebody will actually attempt to refute Paul's
instructions by quoting another of Paul's instructions. To wit:

"You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were
baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew
nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ
Jesus." (Gal 3:26-28)

(chuckle) Paul pitted against Paul; the clash of the titans, only in this event,
both titans are one and the same titan. Yes, both genders are one in Christ;
but then Jesus and God are one also, yet there is a hierarchy in the Divinity
because "the head of Christ is God"

NOTE: Beware becoming militant about this because it's neither a gender
issue, an intelligence issue, a competency issue, a strength issue, or a
maturity issue. This particular arrangement is based primarily upon origin
and seniority. (Gen 2:21-22, Gen 3:16, & 1Tim 2:13)

My perception is that Paul thought that women were inferior to men. He would not think much about women in important church positions or in positions of authority.
Yes he was a Pharisee prior
