We aren't saved by faith. We are saved by grace through faith. Faith is simply the conduit of that grace to us.

yes, not claiming any work as ours, God did it for us to rest in trust, at least me and do as led to do, at least begin to learn to discern the difference between works of the flesh and the Done work Of God in Risen Son who then form us as new in not ever denying God, thanks for the reply

2Ti 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works

We are not saved by good works but unto good works.
Indeed so we’ll be saved come this day

God “will repay each person according to what they have done.” To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For God does not show favoritism.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭2:6-11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

That day is coming so we should be having our faith in the gospel and things he said that will save us on that day the judgement of the lord

Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.””
‭‭Luke‬ ‭6:36-38‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We all have to do this

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:10‬ ‭

but if we hear and accept the gospel we can expect mercy , forgiveness , non judgement according to his own words

We have all sinned before and just one sin makes us the same as everyone else a sinner in need of redemption

if we accept the gospel we’re going to find mercy in his own words of judgment and promise but if we reject it we’re going to not have what he’s promising which is mercy , forgiveness , no condemnation condemnation come judgement day

We need to learn Gods ways from Jesus rather than Moses that’s where we will find Gods true ways of life we should live according to things like this

“Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you.”

otherwose we won’t have that mercy and forgivness and no condemnation

“Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom,( John 8:31-32) because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment.”
‭‭James‬ ‭2:12-13‬ ‭NIV‬‬

God certainly will judge every deed the option is mercy at judgement ? Or no mercy at judgement ? Condemnation at judgement or no condemnation at judgement ?

We need to follow Christ because we’re all sinners headed for the fire he came to tell us the way to salvstion if we reject him our course will not change

“There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; the very words I have spoken will condemn them at the last day.”
‭‭John‬ ‭12:48‬ ‭NIV‬‬

It’s because they rejected this stuff the judge said will never change or end

“For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:14-15‬ ‭NIV‬‬

instead of us accepting and believing , we tend to explain why that’s not true or applicable when he’s the actual judge saying these are my actual judgements forever believe and be saved

the concepts we get in our head like “ I don’t need to do anything Jesus said I’m already saved “ they work directly against the things he’s teaching believers to act in and do d be saved

so many conclude before they hear then what they hear becomes a lie

Then Jesus said to the woman, “YOUR FAITH HAS SAVED YOU.” Luke 7:50. It was God’s Grace that provided the way for men to be saved. His “grace “ provided the sacrifice for our sins. In that sense His grace did save us but we can only access that grace by believing in Him. It’s our “faith” that grants us his salvation. Yes, it’s grace AND faith—but you can’t say we are NOT saved by faith.

Sure I can. That's what the Bible teaches...saved BY grace THROUGH faith.

I made it so it was easy to see. It doesn't say...saved by grace AND faith. The exercise of faith is a wonderful evidence that grace has come, but faith saves no one.

This being the case, Jesus' comment to the woman were to encourage her. He had already forgiven her of her sins. He had just made much of her act of faith. And now he confirmed to her that her faith was indeed a confirmation of new life in Him. But faith cannot save; only grace.

Galatians 2:16 A man is not justified by works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have believed in Christ Jesus, that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified. Thank you for the inspiration .:)

Wow!! You knew all that without it even being in the verse! You must be the only person in the world that can read Jesus’s thoughts and motives!

Ah...that's the wisdom of God in writing the Bible...we are to compare scripture with scripture.

When we come to portions of scripture that don't seem to agree with other scripture we have to wrestle through them to reconcile apparent contradictions.

I would gladly wrestle through them with you if I thought it would be profitable to you, but I don't get that sense.

Faith/Belief IN the work of Christ Jesus is the condition set by God to receive the gift of salvation.

The soteriology of exclusion does not like this truth so they explain it away by making saving faith a gift or making regeneration precede belief. People who hear the Gospel cannot believe the Gospel unless God lets them believe, they can only reject.

Just so you know you will experience this soon...
