So do you all argue about this for the greater good, for the salvation of some souls maybe? Or just for the sake of arguing? Because it all seems very bitter and un-Christian to me. I have yet to see a shred of love in this discussion it's all snide comments, condemning and hatefulness as far as I can see.

i thought people were saved by hearing the Gospel.
i thought people gained knowledge of their God through what He has revealed in the Scriptures.

so, i suppose a simple question would be:

what is the Gospel? are we saved by Grace through faith? or faith & works?

another would be:

are christians supposed to be bombing arabs into oblivion for Jesus?

are actually supposed to understand what God has revealed?
