Independent senator reverses Harris endorsement

Independent Senator Joe Manchin said he cannot back Vice President Kamala Harris for president after she said she supports ending the Senate filibuster to pass abortion protections in Congress.

The outgoing West Virginia lawmaker who caucuses with Democrats has been one of the few holdouts to endorse Harris with just over 40 days to go before the election.

Let's be realistic, she has absolutely no chance of winning a legitimate election. So at this point the key concern, probably the only concern, is how to insure she doesn't steal the election.

I had a friend/co-worker point something very interesting out to me the other day. I was asking him about the election and he favors Trump and he had a very interesting reason that I had not considered or even heard of before. His reason hinges on the supporters. He pointed out that Trump's supporters are all very open that they support Trump, they're open about what they want from Trump, what they expect from him, what their defense of him and their positions are. He then pointed out that what disturbs him about Kamala is her supporters that they deal in darkness, they do not openly support Kamala, they don't really have a reason to support Kamala, they lie and snake around issues about Kamala, etc. In essence he sees them as wanting to "rule from shadows". I found this to be a true and very interesting aspect indeed of the campaign, made me think about the Bible verses about how the side of good is the side of light and does everything out in the light, but the side of evil deals in the darkness lest their deeds be reproved.
