On October 2, we celebrate the 5th Feast outlined in the First Testament and celebrated by our Messiah. This is the Feast of Trumpets.

For perspective, The Feast of Passover acknowledges the salvation of sinners through the Blood of the Lamb. This is followed the next day with the Feast of Unleavened Bread. This acknowledges Christ's holiness and purity. The Feast of First Fruits follows next, acknowledging His resurrection and ascension. Fifty days later is the ancient celebration of Pentecost, the giving of the Holy Spirit to mankind. Then comes Trumpets, celebrated this year on October 2nd.

The sound of blaring trumpets announces the return of Yeshua HaMashiach. A day of gathering and celebration, but also of fear and dread for the outpouring of God's wrath is forthcoming.

Following Trumpets is the sixth feast, the Feast of Atonement. God's judgement is poured out upon the earth. The seventh and last feast is Sukkot, also called Booths or Tabernacles. This is the celebration of the ingathering of God's people and beginning of Christ's millennial reign.

It is interesting to note, the first three feasts were completed in 5 consecutive days. There are 15 days between Trumpets and Sukkot. When things finally happen, they happen very quickly.

The Fall Feasts are my favorite times of the year. So much annointing and revelation every year. Plus, a ton of fun as well!

God seems to do notable things in our personal lives this time of year, and also around The Feast of Tabernacles and The Last Great Day.

I'm curious, fellow Christians, why you hold onto the outward form of the national laws given through Moses, when it's clear from the New Testament that that outward legal form has been abolished by Jesus' death (Colossians 2), even though their inner meanings have continued for all Christians.

"We" are god's chosen people. When we accept Yeshua as our personal lord and savior we become sons of YHWH and co-heirs to the Kingdom.

I am aware some of the church rejects the Holy Days Christ himself celebrated. I do not seek myself, to change anyone's mind or challenge their beliefs.

The Feasts are not part of a national law given to the Jews, but to all of God's people which includes Christians today. And even though the legal punishments of sin have been done away with, we still have the opportunity to walk in the ways God call us to. Not out of legal obligation, but in a loving response to His Mercy and Grace.

All CC will let me do right now is "Like". Consider this a "Winner" emoji along with a special "Amen".
