Some people don't want to hear truth about the Election and Reprobates. Matthew chapter 13. Jesus tells his apostles Why he speaks in parables to people. Because mystery of God is hidden from them. Many people have Spirit of stupor.
The election have Holy Spirit. Those who have Spirit of stupor are carnal minded. The spiritual Christian can understand deep truth of Gods word. Holy Spirit reveals meat of Gods word, with understanding. Those who have Spirit of stupor can't comprehend. Its spiritually discerned.

I learned long ago there is no point arguing with them. The lure of being special is too strong. The idea that they are destined to be saved, therefore intrinsically better than those who are destined to be lost, gives them a powerful sense of superiority.
You'll never make them let go of the idea that they are better than other people. Just forget it.

Without all the times we have messed up and found ourselves not deserving of the love of God, it has made us who we are as Christians. My mess ups have made me who I am as a Christian and I don't think I would want to give up my mess ups.
I like the concept of Calvinism, no matter what actions I have taken or will take in the future, my actions have been predetermined by God to have occurred. My best action is to live the life according to my preordained path.

How can Israel be disobedient if there isn't free will how could we keep His commandments which implies we can not keep His commandments if there isn't free will of course God is sovereign but in His sovereignty He chose to let us choose
