I actually also wanna start working out and get into bodybuilding. I don't wanna go to any extremes, just to maintain good shape and be healthy.
I've been wanting to get into bodybuilding for a long time but I have no idea how to start. Any suggestions?
This kid would be a good example.
He's motivated by his hero the late Bruce Lee. He likes to pretend like all little girls and boys. He got highly motivated to kick butt and train with his parents. His Dad was into Kung Fu and that meant more than anything. His Dad and him were training partners. By age 5 he was doing international demonstrations. His choreography was perfect. Here's his routine. It's all body weight exercises and calisthenics. Use what you got and develope a routine. I can recommend a few things to get you started. Mind you, I don't get into body building, but do have an excellent fitness program for life.

I suggest squats. Personally, I love squats. I was just doing squats earlier. I also do curls. I do squats and then curls and back and forth during my workout.
Anyway, squats have a lot of benefits besides just building strength. I love doing them so much that I did 2,000 in one day. Mind you, I'm not suggesting you do that many! But, I do think they are excellent to get into and work up to whatever number you are comfortable with.

You gotta train them early so they can beat up doctors Bob.
Not that doctors are strong in a fight, but it's important to hone your skills and hit them effectively.

At 4 years old, I kicked nurse Ratchet as they pinned me down. Unfortunately, she was able to inject me with her poison. If I had half this kid's skills at the time, it never would have happened.

Amen to that Bob.
Nurses are the worst !

They can be, although I don't paint them all with the same brush. They follow orders, which some administer lethal treatments and one of them was convicted of mass murder at the Clarksburg VA hospital following my Dad's brutal murder. Mom went through that too.
I've had personal attacks by a med student and a nurse upon my life too.

I've known decent nurses and there's a kind one who is a helpful member here. I greatly appreciate her.

On the other hand, others who take lives with the conscience of a Death Adder.
I've met a few Drs and Nurses like this.

I hear you Bob.
They follow orders like the gestapo and want to control us all.
This is why kung fu skills are vital to show these nurses and doctors and their leaders that we are not gonna take it!
No, we're not gonna take it.

When I first started bodybuilding, I had no clue where to begin either. What really helped was sticking to the basics—things like squats, deadlifts, and bench presses.

I’d break it up into different muscle groups each day, so I wasn’t overworking any one area. Consistency was the hardest part at first, but once I got into a rhythm, it felt a lot easier to keep going. Also, I came across one of the best CrossFit business software that could make managing a gym easier if that’s something you’d want to explore in the future.

You bodybuilder probably already know this but for the others, I had a teacher who ruined the muscles in her legs from using those exercise machines. be sure to use the same weight for the front and back for your arms or legs

I believe "no pain........... no pain!" I do some light exercise, light weights and stretches with stretch bands. I have an electric trike for aerobic exercise. I've done the heavy workout thing and injured myself. It my age, it takes forever to recover. No fun at all.
