Those that continue, no matter how long it might take to see it through, will eventually see through it all. will be freed from guilt, and pride.
Which is not easy if want to be righteous, many get put under Law to do it. to only find out they can't either. What, I heard me say when I first believed, I thought no way "I" can do it, Really? even since others didn't, "I" can!
Peter thought that too! Jesus said to Peter you will deny me there times before the cock grows in the morning.
No way was Peter;s response, seriously, y'all, seriously, will I, you and others deny God too? In fear as Peter did that in fear, seeing his Messiah Jesus going to the cross, the beating of his Lord happening, fear entered Peter, did it not?
Does it in us enter also? Somehow, someway, in some form?

We need have no fear of someone who loves us perfectly; his perfect love for us eliminates all dread of what he might do to us. If we are afraid, it is for fear of what he might do to us and shows that we are not fully convinced that he really loves us.

I would try to not sin, and what did I do, yep I sinned and ended up worse than when not under Law, once under Law.

Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
the above does not say go ahead and try does it? No, it says reckon it to be done for you in ?son as risen to you thank you
Seeing truth as any person thinks, so are they, if I try not to, what do I, you do?

Tell me, is that arrogance or not?
I see God went to the cross once for us all, do you? Hope so, and maybe humble us all
