We can use the passages you reference to prove they are not the sons of Jacob because if you read the portion you've shared carefully it's there. Here, I'll post it again...

Hos 1:9
Then God said:

“Call his name Lo-Ammi,
For you are not My people,
And I will not be your God.

Hos 1:10
Yet the number of the children of Israel
Shall be as the sand of the sea,

Which cannot be measured or numbered.
And it shall come to pass
In the place where it was said to them,
‘You are not My people,’
There it shall be said to them,
‘You are sons of the living God.’

Hos 1:11
Then the children of Judah and the children of Israel
Shall be gathered together,
And appoint for themselves one head;
And they shall come up out of the land,
For great will be the day of Jezreel!

Just from the portion you shared, let's break it down in the simplest order of events:

1. First, Punishment: to no longer be called "His people"
2. Next, the population is GREATLY multiplied during punishment (too many to count)
3. Then, where they are punished they will be called "Sons of the Living God"
4. Finally, Judah AND Israel will be regathered together

But these folks would have us believe the following is the order of events:

1. First, Judah is regathered BEFORE punishment (they actually say they've always been "His people")
2. Next, their population has barely grown in 2000 years and is minuscule
3. NOW the Punishment: those of us around the world currently claiming they are not "His people"
4. Finally, they will be called "Sons of the Living God" (once again??)

----

Your passages prove they're counterfeits.
I think that you forgot the HUNDREDS of parallel passages there buddy.

Luk 13:35
Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

[Zec 12:1 KJV]
The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.

[Zec 12:2 KJV]
Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah [and] against Jerusalem.

[Zec 12:3 KJV]
And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

[Zec 12:4 KJV]
In that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness.

[Zec 12:5 KJV]
And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem [shall be] my strength in the LORD of hosts their God.

[Zec 12:6 KJV]
In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, [even] in Jerusalem.

[Zec 12:7 KJV]
The LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify [themselves] against Judah.

[Zec 12:8 KJV]
In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David [shall be] as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.

[Zec 12:9 KJV]
And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

[Zec 12:10 KJV]
And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for [his] only [son], and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for [his] firstborn.

[Zec 12:11 KJV]
In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.

[Zec 12:12 KJV]
And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;

[Zec 12:13 KJV]
The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart;

[Zec 12:14 KJV]
All the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart.

We are agreed here.

Well, perhaps someone could start a thread on just that. The history of the Jews from the OT through to today. { And also those who say they are Jews but are not. (Do not forget them!) } That could be quite an interesting discussion!

That's the good "me too"!

Agreed!

Agreed, and it much more land then they have today.

Ahh, but it started God's prophetic time clock. God is drawing the Jews back from where they were scattered. They needed a homeland for that. Their homeland, Israel.

No, there is much more land, and it will be theirs and there will be peace. I did not say that time is now. They are still in disbelief. Romans 11 tells us how it all will unfold. God has not forgotten the Jews.
I am glad we can agree on something! :)

Yet - what you are not [properly] understanding is that - the dry bones prophecy is the "beginning" of the [biblical] "return" of Israel as a nation - in an "all-at-once" manner - and, it can be no other way - because, that is what the prophecy indicates.

I will say it again - the dry bones prophecy is the [very] "beginning" of the [biblical] "return" of Israel as a nation.

It is the dry bones prophecy coming to pass that is the [very] "beginning" of the [biblical] "return" of Israel as a nation.

The [biblical] "return" of Israel as a nation is not possible until the dry bones prophecy comes to pass and is then fulfilled.

The [very] "beginning" of the [biblical] "return" of Israel as a nation cannot occur until the dry bones prophecy begins to unfold.

Have I made this really clear yet?

Despite what you want to believe, 1948/1967 was not "God's prophetic time clock" concerning this issue - because, it was not an actual [biblical] (prophetically proper-and-correct) "answer" to the actual [biblical] prophecy. Instead, it was a faked "answer" to the prophecy - by evil men with an agenda.

The promises of God are true. Of that, there is absolutely no disagreement. They simply have not happened yet according to prophecy.

When will you understand this???

Romans 11 tells us how it all will unfold. God has not forgotten the Jews.
In prophetic timeline terms, these verses are referring to the Second Coming of Christ:

Romans 11:

26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: 27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

It was your reference CV... but this often is what happens. If one passage doesn't prove to work anymore we move on to the next as a new challenge as if the Almighty didn't inspire all the scriptures. Everything must fit.

Look at Luke's passage again:

Luk 13:35
Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

This passage says their house is left desolate UNTIL THEY SAY blessed is The Messiah. "Until". Have they said this? Most so-called Jews are atheists and the Orthodox mock The Messiah. Do they see Him? No. They don't get their house back before seeing Him, and don't see Him until they confess Him. So how can they be there beforehand? Both the Hosea and Luke passages you referenced speak of reconciliation before restoration/return.

Now Zechariah's passage is perfectly accurate. But when do you think this portion takes place when considering Hosea and Luke?

[Zec 12:1 KJV]
The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.

[Zec 12:2 KJV]

In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon [Har Megiddo = Armagedon]

[Zec 12:12 KJV]
And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;

[Zec 12:14 KJV]

If you still believe this prophecy will happen soon with the current people in the land, answer this: who are ALL the inhabitants of Jerusalem right now? Because it's not just "Jews" there.

So your thesis is there are NO JEWS WHATSOEVER in the land today, nor will there be until AFTER the SC?

Well think again. These passages alone destroy your position.

Dan 9:24
Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people (Israelites) and upon thy holy city (Jerusalem), to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

Dan 9:27
And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Dan 3:15
Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?

Rev 13:15
And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

You have just lost your case. Just here and now with this one post and a few passages. Nobody in their right mind can deny it.

Here are a couple more. Do you understand them? Any of them? Evidently not.
Bummer. But not my problem. Thank God.

Exo 17:6
“Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock in Horeb; and you shall strike the rock, and water will come out of it, that the people may drink.” And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.

Num 20:8
“Take the rod; you and your brother Aaron gather the congregation together. Speak to the rock before their eyes, and it will yield its water; thus you shall bring water for them out of the rock, and give drink to the congregation and their animals.”

Rom 11:12
Now if their fall is riches for the world, and their failure riches for the Gentiles, how much more their fullness!

And FYI @Yahshua @Moses_Young @GaryA :

Just in case you missed this devastating Biblical truth that applies to my foregoing post:

Jesus arrived in precisely 69 weeks.....for the sake of the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
And He will come again in the 70th week.....for the sake of lost sheep of the house of Israel.

And of course the Jews WERE present at 69 weeks. In fact MANY RETURNED. Likewise, at the 70th week the Jews will ALREADY be in the land. It is impossible that end time prophecies so noted could be fulfilled otherwise.

Right? I mean its obvious. Right?
