Children in Colonial America used to learn this truth when they learned their alphabet in the New England Primer, when they said, “In Adam's fall, we sinned all”.

If this is true, how different are the things being taught today! Our early history as a country was indeed wise when it came to teaching children.

What are your ideas concerning how things have changed?

I agree! Getting involved is the only way to restore what has changed over time. Schools should teach what is needed for success in life and not try to replace a parents teaching.
But that's just one example! Other things over time may have changed for the better. Posts in either direction are welcome....
