Yeah in the middle east.

There may have been a pair of baboons that wandered off to Saudi Arabia.

Yet we still have hundreds of monkey species to transport to other continents.
plate tectonics, land bridges, global sea levels.

They went with the people who traveled there. After the tower of babel, God sent them all over the world.
So we have 200 species of monkey by two. Following Noah and his wife
around?

What about the other species of animals are they all following Noah around?

The whale was exempt, to big too fit two in the ark.

Your introducing science into this thread.

Your not proposing a lowering of the ocean levels by an ice age event?

What did they do to Galileo?

Be very careful.

According to the Jewish Tradition (in Seder Olam Rabah), the Tower of Babel occurred in the last year of Peleg's life. Eber was a prophet and named his son based on a future event. If you calculate the numbers, that is 340 years after the flood.May 28, 2024
How can we understand the Tower of Babel timeline?

At last some dates to calculate.

4000 - 1656 = 2344 BC

Now we need to subtract 340

2344 - 340 = 2004 BC

Now the population scatters across the world with the 400 monkeys and tens of thousands
of other animals, not native to the middle east.

I wish we could look back and see what happened but its impossible. We only have the Bible and a few other ancient text.

Whales are already in the water, your being silly.

Whale fossils are under the sand of the Sahara, work that out.
Aren't we both being silly? The Sahara was underwater how else can whale fossils be found in a desert. Certainly not transported in a ark.

Have you considered all the land mass was connected till the days of Peleg when the world was divided.

To Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided, and his brother’s name was Joktan.

Peleg was born about 100 years after the flood and lived 239 years

You should watch the documentary that @Wansvic posted before: The Ark and the Darkness. It answers a lot of the questions you're asking here. It's very interesting!

I watched the Ark and the Darkness.

It has Geology 101 scattered throughout the video.

The main difference between the Biblical account and Geology 101 is the timeline.

Another difference is the Biblical account does not have ice age events.

The bottom line is what the observable evidence tells us.

The evidence is the key to unlock the puzzle of earth's history.

Not someone's opinion, a theology, a church, or even a tradition.

The visible evidence.

I thought California, Texas and New Mexico produced nuts also.

Maybe I am wrong?
They produce nuts for sure....

But only California has fruit. Kinda a thing for them. (Grapes, citrus and all orchard fruits)
But I don't talk that way. Not enough whining ......and Californian's are all about whining or accusations. I escaped decades ago. Not going back if I can help it. Land prices out there are also extremely high. If you have a farm of any size you are a millionaire. I'm not that rich.
However....if inflation don't quit I might be anyway soon enough.

Evidence would say that Adam was once a baby and that the egg came before the chicken. You have to allow for miracles and trust Scripture's account of earth's history.

In my studies I have found the world is about 6000 years old. Anyone else studied time from Adam?????
While science is not inerrant, it indicates the universe is billions of years old, and that it is unique from a "singularity", which correlates quite nicely with the Genesis description of creation ex nihilo. Also, if God is omnipresent, then His Spirit fills 3-dimensional space, although in an impersonal manner in terms of relating to humanity.

I used to believe that, but I'm reading up more on the the young earth theory and they actually make a lot of sense. So I now believe in that, BUT I don't know if it is only 6,000 years old as some people are trying to fit it into the idea that the next 1,000 years will be the millennial age. There is still a lot to learn and consider, so I have not really bought into that.

Why do you say that?

It has a lot to say that's very compelling and that's all you can come up with?

.....

Anyway, I suggest to everyone else to watch it for themselves. It's very interesting and packed full of great information.
