Would you please answer a hypothetical question for me? This is purely hypothetical (from your point of view), so it does not damage your reputation in any way to answer it. Okay? This is a little safe space for you.

Here is my question: IF I'm 100% correct and our Lord Jesus Christ has called me to be a prophet, and everything I said is true, do you believe you have treated me and spoken to me in a way in which Jesus would approve?

No long explanations necessary. Just a simple answer to a simple hypothetical question.
You need to know this....

You are not as important as you have yourself imagining yourself to be.

BUT YOU'RE NOT.

Hypothetical questions are pointless.

There's your simple answer.

"No" was actually the simple answer.

Here's the same question again without a hypothetical: "Do you believe you have treated me and spoken to me in a way in which Jesus would approve?"

Again, the simple answer is "No." No, you have not.

God came to Earth as a man and died for me. That's how important I am. I don't think that makes me anymore important than you, but, I believe myself to be very important to Him.

You know, how about you guys listen to me preach and then criticize my sermons? I mean, entertain me a bit. You guys are so critical of me, I'd really like to hear your opinions of my preaching.

Are you better than Peter?
Matthew 16:21-23!
From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem,
and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed,
and be raised the third day.
Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “Far be it from You, Lord;
this shall not happen to You!”
But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me,
for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”

Jesus did not pull any punches....
He was not a long haired hippy as some converted artists out from paganism portrayed him to be.

You would not have been able to follow Him unless you denied self (your feelings) and took up your own cross.
You had to face reality. Not what you wish so hard for it to be.

Peter was quoting Joel 2:28.
He wanted to show the Jews that what was happening at Pentecost was something that was not alienated from God's ways.

"But this is the same kind of thing that was spoken by the prophet Joel, 'And it shall come to pass in the last days, said God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams."

{Note: this is a quote from Joel 2:28 referring to the 2nd advent of the coming of the Holy Spirit in the Millennial reign of Christ - Peter is using this as an illustration to show the disciples are NOT DRUNK. Peter is NOT saying Joel's prophecy is being fulfilled at this time.}

grace and peace ........
In 2:16 Peter says quite plainly that this prophecy from Joel is being fulfilled rather than being caused by drunkenness!

While I don't want to start another argument, I was curious about your comment and whether you were being serious or just antagonistic. Like, if you were attending a church service and the pastor opened in prayer, would you shout this verse at him?

1 Thessalonians 5:17 calls us to "Pray without ceasing." Should we spend all of our waking hours behind closed doors in our secret place "praying without ceasing", or should we continue praying no matter where we are or what we're doing?

While I understand this is a rhetorical question, do you? Or should I assume you were just trying to be antagonistic?
Assume what you want, you have done so to date.

You cannot tell the difference between prayer in a corporate worship situation and the intercessory prayer of an individual?

Whether you realise it or not, (and you should realise if you worked in mental health), what you did was overtly manipulative.

First you play the "poor, poor, pitiful me" (they all hate me), then the "holy than thou" (let everyone see how holy I am by praying for you all publicly).

The sad thing is, I think you are simply deluded, thinking you were doing the right thing.

I've been praying for you since I first read your OP and I dare say I'm not the only one. You don't need to advertise, the Lord sees all.

If pointing out the reality of what the scriptures say is antagonistic? Then I will gladly be antagonistic till the end of my days. :)

I'm still waiting on people to tell me what they thought of my preaching. I'm interested in your opinions as to whether my sermons are heretical or not.

Had a dream I was in some kind of fitness class and the teacher was forcing my head to the ground in submission.

Then someone said to me the word "Druze". I looked into my lap, and it was full of multi-colored gumballs. The "Druze" gumballs were colored red and pink in the midst of all the other colors.

Then I woke up.

[I believe the Lord wanted me to share this dream. I know nothing of the "Druze" and only remember hearing the word perhaps one time in my life.

Remember how the Lord told me to watch for "Beirut" in a dream in early August. Then on my birthday, 9/27, Israel bombed Beirut and killed Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah. Remember this post and the word "Druze".]

Do you notice how many of my prophetic dreams center around major events in Israel instead of just random things happening in the world?

The Lord just put this on my heart. Since the dream of Beirut was not enough to convince you that God has called me to be a prophet, He gave this dream as a further testimony. Will you likewise dismiss this one?

You say that you have prayed for me? Well, it seems God's answer to your prayers was to double down on His calling for me.

Let's say, for the sake of argument, your two dreams (Beirut and Druze) have some prophetic significance. What's the message the Lord wants us to know?

I'm actually happy that you're actually out there traveling from state to state trying to spread the word. This is what a few missionaries on our church do.
As far as your approach and who you are as a person, i can't say much because i can't pretend to know people over text. Even in person you need at least a week to get to know someone reasonably well.
But based on what you posted here about your traveling and your experience .. God bless you and give you more strength and energy to keep going.
I also don't think you're a prophet @jonchristian but i can see that you love God with what you've done with your traveling.
God bless you and keep going. You shouldn't seek the confirmations of others (myself included) when you love God with all your heart.
I do a lot of things on my daily basis for God and i tune out all the noise and react to the messages which i believe are edifying.
If you try to stress yourself out by what anonymous strangers on the internet (myself included) think of you, i'm not sure how much peace you have but only God knows your heart.

God bless and keep going.

IOW you only listen to what you agree with and tune out what does not.

Protestants do this all day here. Verse vs Verse. Iron sharpens iron so to speak.
But all i see is dulling not sharpening.
So if i were do to the whole Verse vs Verse and say that Jesus said to "shake the dust of your feet and move on" there will be no introspection from you or growth, or "sharpening".
This is why you, believe it or not, are also filtering out things and God bless you because He knows your heart too.

And yet, no matter how much anyone shows you that the New Testament had prophets and the gift of prophesying, you deny it. You literally deny what the Scriptures say. Acts 11:27-28. Agabus was a prophet. It's really that simple to understand.
Jon,
The Bible says God will pour out his spirit in the last days. (And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams) Now the Bible doesn't call those people prophets even through they had certien gifts. jon were you called prophet specifically in you vision?

The Greek indicates that what was happening was something like what Joel prophesied. Peter was trying to stabilize the crowd and get them to focus upon God doing something.
