For those in a hurry for the answer, the coming Antichrist will be the devil himself, appearing in OUR earthly dimension with the image of 'man'.
That means Satan is coming in full view, upon this earth, with that image of man. He won't have to hide behind some human working for him. He will appear in person. If you don't believe that possible, then it shows you don't believe the two angels of Genesis 19 actually appeared to Lot with the image of man (also see Hebrews 13:2).
1. Bible Scripture actually reveals that Satan himself is who is coming to our earthly dimension at the end of this world. The children of darkness and those deceived of course preach against this.
Rev 12:7
7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
KJV
Revelation 12:7-17 -- preachers who don't really understand about that war in Heaven between Archangel Michael and Satan fall into the deception trap created by Satan's host that wrongly teach that war in Heaven was about Satan's original rebellion long, long ago. If you haven't read that Scripture for yourself and instead are gullible enough to believe those false preachers, then you don't belong here with God's Truth in His Word being shown to you. That war in Heaven is still a future event set for the end of this world when Satan and his angels will be booted out of the heavenly dimension, and instead into our earthly dimension, upon this earth, which will likely create the start of the "great tribulation" at the end of this world.
Rev 11:7
7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
KJV
2. There's two separate beasts taught in Rev.13. The first beast of Rev.13:1 is about a kingdom beast of ten horns, seven heads, and ten crowns. But the second beast is the "another beast" of Rev.13:11, linked to the "dragon", which is another title for Satan. Men's doctrines try to get you to believe that "another beast" is about a different person called the false prophet mentioned in Rev.16:13, when in reality it is about the "dragon", another title for Satan per Rev.12:9. In the above Rev.11:7 verse, that "beast" that ascends up out of the bottomless pit is that "another beast" of Rev.13:11, that speaks as a "dragon", because it will be the "dragon" (Satan).
Rev 9:11
11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.
KJV
3. That is about the angel that is over (reigns over) the bottomless pit as king. Satan is the ruler over the bottomless pit, and he is an angel, which is a term used for those in the heavenly dimension. Those names "Abaddon" and "Apollyon" mean 'the Destroyer', another one of Satan's titles used for him in The Old Testament. And the name "Apollyon" is from the Greek root word apollumi that means 'perdition', and points to Satan already having been sentenced to perish in the future "lake of fire". This last point about his title of "Apollyon" is especially a direct pointer to Satan, because only Satan and his angels so far have already been judged and sentenced to perdition into the future "lake of fire". No flesh born man has been judged to perish yet, for that won't happen until after Jesus' future "thousand years" reign of Rev.20.
Rev 17:8
8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
KJV
Rev 17:10-11
10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
KJV
4. The above Rev.17:8 verse reveals that same beast of Rev.11:7 that will ascend up out of the bottomless pit to kill God's two witnesses during the coming great tribulation. It will be Satan himself, as that is who is already judged and sentenced to that "perdition" in the future "lake of fire". That verse also reveals that when the world does see him (Satan) appear on earth, those whose names are not written in the book of life will "wonder" at him when they see him. Other Scripture like 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 shows he will exalt himself as GOD, and thus many will be fooled thinking he is God.
The above Rev.17:10-11 Scripture further reveals that "beast" will be a king, the 7th one still yet to come, which will be for the end of this present world. It also reveals he will be the 8th king that goes into perdition (into the "lake of fire", another reference to Satan having already been judged and sentenced to perdition). Satan being that 8th king points to his final rebellion with being loosed out of his pit prison after Christ's future "thousand years" reign, to go and tempt the unsaved nations one last time (Rev.20).
