I guess I am old school, I still believe that actions speak louder than words. I listen to those who are actually involved in fighting a war about the war rather than people who don't have skin in the game. If I am not going to have my skin in the game I don't tell others that they need to. Surely if this war is essential there will be many who are involved in it and I'll listen to what they have to say.

NATO's principles state that NATO must do everything to find peaceful solutions. And had NATO remained in the North Atlantic region -- thousands of miles away from Russia's border -- Putin would not regard it as an existential threat to Russia. But as a matter of fact NATO is violating its own principles and actively seeking to attack Russia. But Putin will not simply stand by. He has vowed to preemptively use nuclear weapons. You may consider Putin a bully, but Australia itself is being controlled by bullies and so is America.

Russia tested one of its much vaunted nuke carrying rockets, presumably without a warhead. It exploded in the silo. Russia is unable to maintain its military due to a combination of corruption and sanctions.
The situation will not remain indefinitely. I've said for years that America will become impotent eventually. No one in the millennium will want to watch movies about how America alone defeated the forces of evil. No, Jesus will put an end to the Antichrist and the Beast. He will slay Satan with just a breath.
In the mean time, Russia is all bluster. America is not yet completely helpless. Believers keep praying and God answers, which is one of the reasons why I believe in a pre-trib rapture. Once the (real) believers are taken away, that will be the time for Antichrist to start his reign of terror.

Nehemiah said this a year ago when if we had a president that did know where he is and who he is talking to we might not be on the verge of nuclear war today.
