The word cult is not in the Bible. So it makes it hard to know what it really is. If you read the definition a relatively small group of people having religious beliefs or practices regarded by others as strange or sinister.

That would have referred to the early church, so that is a rather poor definition. Also, why does the number of people in the group make a difference? There are a lot in the JWs and I would classify them as a cult, same as the Mormons, same as Islam, same as FreeMasons. I regard their religious beliefs as sinister. As for those that are "strange" that would include many others.

Then there is the other definition a misplaced or excessive admiration for a particular person or thing. Well that is simply idolatry. I would argue that everyone in the world is idolatrous. They have an excessive admiration for money, or people. Think of all these ones going to some sporting event and acting like fools because of some "super star". Same thing with musicians, artists, politicians, etc.

Why could so many people be led astray by the MSM, it is because they have misplaced admiration for talking heads on the TV like Fauci.

So then, is MAGA a cult? For the most part. How about the Democrats? Yep. How about Americans -- definitely. Most, not all, but most. There are probably around 1-3% of Americans who are not idolatrous at all, but the rest are. They put up idols in their home worshiping pagan religious idols and have excessive admiration for people and things.

Maybe America should vote for something else than Democrats or Republicans. They seem to have run their course.

Who and How. It's been tried, and it always failed. I believe that the solution to our election problems is a non sequential two term in office limit, along with a maximum 1/4 of the office salary as a campaign limit. Also a ban on holding a government related job for ten years after they leave office or between terms.

It all comes down to this for both Trump and Kamala. Trump appears on Joe Rogan and goes first thus giving Kamala the benefit of the rebuttal and last word. However there are rumors Kamala may flake out of the debate. If that is the case then this is the moment her campaign ended. Kamala's next move is ciritcal for her campaign. She either will appear on Joe Rogan and get the advantage to rebut Trump here or she will abandon her followers and the field basically in total disgrace and her loss is automatic, and that's the whole ballgame.

I would like some follow up questions on what Kamala was doing when she was the last to leave the room concerning Afghanistan.

Was she vacuuming the floor? Clearing away the coffee cups?

I don't care if she was the last to leave the room, what I want to know is what was she doing and does anyone in the Biden administration let her speak, much less listen to her.

Kamala's speeches include excerpts from Karl Marx' writings.

Next time she conjurs up one of her word salads this will come to mind. The more things change the more they remain the same.

I hear that Harris woman is talking about women throughout history that have inspired her:

“They all laughed at Joan of Arc, but she went ahead and built it anyway. “

Well Eli, She was from a middle class family, and middle class families know how to work hard. She is half Indian from India named after a hindu goddess Lakshmi which is the goddess of wealth, good fortune, prosperity, etc. She worships wealth and prosperity. She is the first woman to be vice president, and the first presidential candidate to not win any primaries or any delegates. We have yet to learn what her accomplishments are but we do know that she was not responsible for any of the mistakes made by the Biden administration. We also know that if you believe Jesus Christ is Lord and King you are not welcome in her rallies and will be kicked out. She says she is from Oakland but lived in Berkley and grew up in Canada.

She chastized Joe Biden for the allegations of sexual misconduct until he selected her to be VP and then she shut up about that. She has a very keen eye for what she sees as signs of dementia in Trump but still feels Joe Biden is mentally astute and not impaired.

I’m not supporting Trump, but it is obvious that the media is not doing their job properly regarding candidate Harris.

Where are the critical questions? It’s like a fan club for her. I don’t want to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but this reminds of the buildup of Obama.
The media is doing their job exquisitely. It is your job to figure out what their job is. Then you can move into the why. Everything you are witnessing is part of a preplanned agenda, with a contingency for every deviation. Satan has been working in this for a very long time. Think bigger, much much bigger. Kill your television.

I think this is a good question because really who is she?
Much like Hilary she changes her tune depending upon who is the audience.
Probably she doesn't know who she is except for one area where she knows murdering pre-born babies is a human right.
But make no mistake I doubt she is "dumb" how she likes to portray herself, that is just part of the charade.

Judgment is coming to the US, you now have the option of choosing what you want that judgment to be.
I live in Tennessee and you can get fined andup to 30 days in jail for your kids. Truancy

This has been a thing for a long time now in a lot of States

I was a teacher in NYC in Brooklyn. Truancy was a major problem. I saw it first hand. The reason it is a problem is that for many kids school is a waste of time.

A plumber can make 100k a year, an electrician or mechanic or guy who does body work can build a thriving business. Yet the public school has one cookie cutter program to spit everyone out into college to get a four year degree that costs them over 100k, and does nothing but prepare the majority of people to work in cubicles making 40k a year.

High school could have programs that help and facilitate someone becoming a plumber, contractor, construction worker, auto mechanic, etc. By the time the kids graduate after four years they could have made 100k working half days in these trades while also building a resume and learning key skills. If we did this, if High school actually helped every kid, truancy would not be a problem.

I have since learned this was planned. They wanted to make high school a place where kids were promiscuous and girls got pregnant. Poor people are easier to control. They didn't want to make it easier for kids to start their own business because the middle class is the backbone of democracy. Instead we have huge franchises that change oil, fix transmissions, etc. These corporations don't want competition. Anyone that fights the system will be beaten down into submission.
