Reaction to his message.
"America is a nation born out of the work of God but it must be maintained by us"
Our assignment, our mission, is not to "maintain the republic that the founding fathers gave us". That may sound like a great goal, and certainly a worthy goal compared to many possible professions. But as Christians our mission, our goal is to be witnesses of the Lord Jesus, not of Ben Franklin, or of the Founding Fathers, or of the US constitution. Our mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to the entire world. Now that gospel is not a democratic republic. It is a gospel that Jesus is Lord of Lords and King of kings. The only reason this nation was born out of the work of God is because the Bible was printed and the gospel went forth. Soon after that the Protestant revolution began leaving the Catholic church, then you had democracy begin to sprout in England followed by the US. None of that would have happened were it not for the Bible and the gospel. So the US constitution is a derivative of the work of preaching the gospel. It would be foolish for Christians to abandon that very powerful message to then give themselves to politics rather than the savior of the world.
"The Black Robe regiment"
What a contrast with today's pastors and preachers who are afraid to say anything relevant to the issues of the day in our country. I am not saying we should be political hucksters, what I am saying is we have every right to point out that the Pact for the Future is very likely the covenant with the many that Daniel talked about. That the Revelation 12 sign was seen at Feast of Trumpets in 2017 as a sign of the soon coming of the Lord Jesus. They can talk about the "Writing on the Wall" being the Alpha and Omega written over the US by the three solar eclipses (2017, 2023 and 2024). They can say that the Pandemic was a fulfillment of the prophecies in Joel and that the mandate of the experimental vaccine was a violation of international law and likely marked the beginning of the ten years of Jacob's trouble that precedes judgment day.
"Use in case of Acts of Tyranny"
All nations are under the covenant that God made with Noah. In that covenant they are charged with dealing with murder in a way that is honest and trustworthy. There is no stipulation about dictator, or king, or communism, or capitalism or democracy or republic. God does not put any requirement on the form of government nor does He require that leaders be elected. His only requirement is that if someone is murdered the government takes a diligent task of determining who did this and prosecuting the murderer. If you want to define tyranny as failing to keep the Noah covenant, that is fine with me. But to say that we are obligated to fight tyranny by voting is not cutting the word of God straight.
"If 65 million Americans claim to be evangelical Christians and only half of that is registered to vote, why is that?"
If you are a Christian then Jesus is Lord. You should be giving everything you do to follow His leading. If He has not led you to register to vote and you are clear in your conscience about that then I have no issue with this. Paul told us "who are you that judges another man's servant". Once again this is twisting the word of God to make it say what is most definitely does not say. The Bible is clear, we are to pray for the world leaders. The reason Trump was not killed by that assassins bullet had nothing to do with people voting and everything to do with people praying. There is no excuse to not be praying for the leaders and rulers of this nation. We are clearly charged to do that. But there is no charge to vote, or to get involved in the politics of this nation. There is also no prohibition. It is as the Lord leads.
