I agree they are all connected. But I chose to talk about the “Lost son.” They all teach the same lesson: the lesson is showing the rejoicing of the FATher God and all the angels in heaven when a spiritually lost person repents and comes back to God. When the lost person is restored to God, there is rejoicing. There are several observations to be made from these 3 stories. (1) the lost sheep had been in the fold of Jesus, the good shepherd. Represents a SAVED PERSON. WHO BECOMES LOST SPIRITUALLY. The lost coin had been in the possession of the woman. It had been hers first; it had been in her possession. She represents God, the lost coin—the LOST CHILD OF GOD. The Lost son had belonged to his father. He had been in his father’s family. Then he left and was lost. When he returned to God, look at what God his Father said—“ This is my son who was DEAD ( spiritually) but now is alive (spiritually). HE WAS LOST (spiritually) but has been found.(restored). Everything in the Bible shows a child of God can be lost and lose his eternal home if he is unfaithful to God. But the “faithful” child of God will receive all of the blessings and promises that God has offered in his word.

John 10:29 is not teaching that one of Jesus’s sheep cannot leave the fold. All John 10:29 is saying is that no one can steal them from him. And the ones he is talking about are in that context and they are called “thieves and robbers” in verses 1, 8 , and 10; “strangers” in verse 5; and hirelings in verses 12 and 13. In fact, Jesus absolutely teaches that a child of him can leave him and be lost when He told another parable about “the lost sheep.” This “sheep wandered off and was lost! A child of God CAN be lost. Jesus teaches that in this parable. Because He taught that a sheep on can leave on his own and be lost in thus parable, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is not teaching that a sheep can’t be lost if they leave, in the context of John 10:29.
And of course Jesus will never cast out those who COME TO HIM. Why would he? They are the “FAITHFUL. They do not leave Christ. He says they COME. They are not the ones “LEAVING HIM”. They are the ones”COMING TO HIM.” Two different kinds of people. You need a scripture that says He will never cast them out IF THEY LEAVE HIM. This scripture doesn’t prove anything except that God rewards the faithful. And No one disagrees with that!
Perhaps you are unaware of 1 Chronicles 28:9 which says “ If you forsake Him(God), He will CAST YOU OUT FOREVER!” DO YOU SEE THE DIFFERENCE? This verse you’ve posted is true, but does not help your false doctrine.
It's not the same lesson. Jesus gathers the sheep. He seeks them out and delivers them home. The Holy Spirit provides light and cleanses an individual. This is what happens when the thing of value is lost in the story as light and cleaning led to the coin being found. Only after these 2 things are accomplished does the father welcome the son home.
God is salvation,
The One God in Three,
Working together
To save wretched me.
The Father must draw,
Christ is the oblation,
The Spirit confesses,
That's Godly salvation.
The entire Godhead is involved in salvation.
We will stop arguing with God when we read His Word including those I have previously posted and harmonize the few that seem to teach once saved always saved with the many that teach the possibility of apostasy.
I thought this was a Christian Godly discussion? The impression I get from you is that you are getting quite upset. I could be wrong even though in some areas you are using all caps but, just let me know. I'm sorry if I have made you upset, and if that's true, I ask for your forgiveness. So, my next question is that do you agree with this: Jesus died on the cross so that salvation is possible. If so, you believe a falsely statement. It's like you believe Jesus went the first 95% and we have to go the last 5% if you believe that. This just isn't true. This is the proof I'm talking about: 14 I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, 15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd. 17 For this reason the Father loves me, because I lay down my life that I may take it up again. 18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This charge I have received from my Father.” . You should be able to see why this is proof. But then what about John 6? Didn't a bunch of people turn away? Yes, but they never actually believed. Also John 10:28-29 is proof too. No one can snatch His sheep out of His hands. You can also read Romans 8:28-30, Ephesians 1:4-5, 2 Timothy 1:9. This is surly comfort to believers knowing that their salvation is secured in Christ. God has chosen a people before the foundation of the world or time began to Himself, and those are His sheep. All people on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc, that say they used to believe in God never actually did. I'll wait to see what you have to say. Let's rejoice in the Lord together as we delve into scripture and the truth of God Word! I pray that God may reveal the truth in to us by the Spirit through His living Word the separates soul and Spirit. I love you brother in Christ.

I’m sorry if I gave you the impression that I was upset. I am not upset. I use caps for EMPHASIS, not because I am mad or upset. I am passionate about my faith and the truth of the scriptures and Jude tells us to contend “earnestly for the truth, but sometimes I’m afraid I contend a little too “earnestly”. I apologize for giving you the wrong impression.
As I said before, John 10 is not talking about a saved person leaving of their own free will. It’s talking about someone “taking the sheep away.” Do you see the difference? Jesus is saying, in John 10, that no one can take you away from God, but this is NOT teaching that you can never leave God yourself. Compare this teaching to what Jesus says in Luke 15. Here he describes a “sheep” (we all recognize this to be a saved disciple) that LEFT the fold of Christ on his own (no one stole him) and was “lost.” This is a perfect story showing that a saved person can leave Christ and be lost (spiritually). I know Jesus is talking about his spiritual condition because Jesus says in verse 7 of Luke 15, that this sheep was a “sinner” who repented” and was one of the flock again after being lost. He said the other 99 (sheep) did not need to repent but this one little sheep that was lost did. This clearly shows a child of God LEAVING of his own free will and Jesus says he was “lost” and he repented and came back to the flock. John 10 is not about a saved person leaving of his own free will, it’s talking about someone else, another person being able to forcibly take you away from God. That can’t happen. But you can surely leave God if you don’t want to stay (Luke 15) and you will be “lost” if you do. Please comment on John 10 and Luke 15 and not just quote other scriptures. Thank you.
Jesus says His sheep hear His voice and also that there are some not yet of this fold that He still needs to bring to Himself and they will listen to His voice. The other verses I mentioned do though help prove of security and certainty of our salvation in Christ alone.
Yes, we have security in Christ as long as we stay in the fold of Christ. Luke 15 proves that we can leave of our own free will and be lost. Consider carefully these things. You don’t want to hold on to a false doctrine or a doctrine made by man (John Calvin). 2 John 9 says if we don’t abide in the doctrine of God, we don’t have God. I want you to be saved, not surprised on judgement day.
If a Christian can't be lost, why did Christ say he would tell many who professed him, "Depart from me, you workers of iniquity". Or Paul say that if we deny him he will deny us. Denial goes beyond verbal disavowment into the works we do that reveal who we actually follow:

Christians must keep themselves holy.
Pursue peace with all and sanctification, apart from which no one shall see the Lord; Hebrews 12:14
Christians can neither make themselves holy or keep themselves holy. Only God can transform a man. You might be able to make white the outside, but no one can clean up a heart. That's God's purview.
Of course they can. Keeping one's self holy is keeping one's self from the defilements of the world
Religion pure and undefiled before the God and father is this -- to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself spotless from the world. James 1:27
There is no good thing in the flesh. So to be holy, one must walk in the Spirit. To walk in the Spirit you must be being moved by the Spirit. It is no longer you, but Christ living in you.
