so I had a crazy dream last night where I was reunited with my old boss.. it was a very uncomfortable dream and brought back some deep traumatic feelings. I don’t know if this was God telling me something but I took it as in my heart was I have not forgiven my boss for firing me for my job. The family office I used to work for is worth billions.. private jet rich, nonetheless I woke up and I prayed and repent for any unforgiveness in my heart.

There is no bible verse that says this specifically. But there is some wisdom to this old saying. For faith to be activated requires action by the individual.
Sometimes God wants us to quit messing things up and get out of His way so He can fix things.

Sometimes God wants us to follow His advice and do what He leads us to do. This comes through the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit revealing to us how to achieve what needs to be done to "fix" whatever needs "fixin.... :) And do so in the manner He reveals to us.

We are (christians)all called for a purpose. God has purposed all His children and the Holy Spirit reveals to us that purpose and gives us the "gifts" needed to achieve that purpose. Christians are to work for the Kingdom, not just sit around and expecting God to do everything for us.

God will reward each christian according to their works. Good works are the fruit of salvatioand done to the glory of God.

No, but MK 9:24 comes close: "Lord, help me overcome my unbelief." So, God also helps the unbeliever.

And 1CR 4:7 could also be understood in the same vein: "...What do you have that you did not receive?..."

There are things that God can do. They’re also things that you can do as well. Let’s say you have cancer. You can definitely ask, Pray and ask God to heal you, but at the same time you can probably go to an oncologist and get diagnosed and start treatment.. I don’t think they’re mutually exclusive. You can have faith and pray, but you also have to be pragmatic.
Jesus taught that most in this time will have an outward form of godliness denying the power.
It was given to the 12 to understand the deeper things, the rest of the people, not so much.
He requires 1st place in all things, when the Dr. says "You've got...." we need to not take it in and let it become a party of our identity, sickness, disease, lack, accidents, are all from the enemy, it was never His plan we die of anything, the plan was that we find His plan for our lives and walk it out, then go home when our work is done, Enoch was translated, Elijah was taken in the whirlwind, Moses taken home from mount Nebo, etc.
Blessings

Conclusion

Goggins’ principles of resilience, discipline, and mental toughness can complement aspects of a Christian life, especially in areas like perseverance and personal responsibility. However, his focus on self-reliance, personal pride, and relentless physical pushing may diverge from Christian values, which prioritize reliance on God, humility, and a balanced approach to life. Integrating Goggins’ message with Christian values may involve adapting certain elements to maintain a foundation of faith and reliance on God’s guidance and strength.
The thing is that when you realize that these options given to us come from God, it's not really self-reliance but God appreciation.

We have a parable in my culture about a man in the middle of the ocean who is asking God to save him.
A piece of wood/log swims by but he doesn't take it. A boat comes by and they ask him to come aboard and he tells them "no no i'm waiting for God to save me'.
So then God tells him 'I gave you two signs and you didn't take them'.
So yeah, everything goes back to appreciation for God and you're not really relying on yourself because even you as a self, were created BY God.

So I’ve been praying for God to talk to me and give me a sign, so again I don’t know if this is God or my own subconscious mind, but basically I got a message or feeling through a weird dream that basically a teacher was telling me I was taking shortcuts and not working hard enough! I woke up and prayed and thank the Lord for the message and accept that I need to do more to help my situation and get off my arse.

Here is my new shift and focus and thinking. Anything good, I will thank God for. The food taste good.... thank you Lord for the delicious food. My kid is behaving.... thank you Lord for the blessing of my son. I start from the moment I wake up, thank you Lord for the day and for keeping me alive.

Conversely, anything negative (thought or action) I will rebuke in the name of Jesus. I'm going to create a positive feedback loop centered around the goodness of God. I will throw in recitals of key biblical versus, particularly Jeremiah 29:11.
I say this over and over and "will it" by faith into existence in Jesus name. God has to answer my request as God can't lie.

Also ask God literally for anything, in your case would be abundance. I also ask for abundance while being grateful for ALL the abundance that i am given. Then wait for a sign.

In my case, i asked for abundance to pay for my kid's college and a job offer in June was a sign that i need to spend more time on that particular skill and use it, while having my regular job.
But abundance can come in many ways, you may even win the lottery you never know, but since it's God's will, it will be in a way which we may not fully understand during the walk but when we get to the destination.
When i remember my prayers 10 years ago and 5 years ago for the things I asked God for, i am grateful because He gave them to me.

This is the best teaching I've heard on dealing with evil thoughts.

I pray, please Lord let my wife be content with our finances, the wife comes home and bitches at me…
did you find a. Job yet… and I think to myself, I need to do more than just pray and read the Bible.
my wife was scammed and also scammed me of all of our short term savings, equivalent
to 10 years of savings., enough to buy a small house in middle America.
Your wife needs a good talking to...

Well, I don’t blame her. Only recently she has come to the Lord. But I truly believe there are dark forces and generational curses she is dealing with as a former Buddhist and generation of unbelievers.

I had to read the Bible and it’s definition on love and “not keeping records of wrongs” which is hard. But I have forgiven her through God’s grace.
