There is someone for everyone and everyone knows what they want or don't want.
But as far as general statements go, it's best to ignore negative comments typically.

Because if we do specifics, i don't get 90% of the comments in the single forums, so i stopped reading that like 2 years ago and i mark it as read, and i don't understand any comments from singles in the family section either, so i don't respond because they make zero sense.
Everyone has like 10,000 assumptions basically.
Treat people as individuals and then go from there.
I blame Jordan Peterson for some of these absurd comments. I don't believe in incel men never have. Theirs a woman for everyone. As long as you treat them right and have confidence, Americans have the broadest beauty standard in the world. I know every man wants a 20-year-old, but women are marrying in their later 20s-40s today and the medium age for first marriages is 28.

The rhetoric for sure has gone sideways like in politics that's why what Sub said is true for young people.
But the thing is if you get into these specifics ... you're sort of going into a rabbit hole.
So it comes down to what people want.

In the case of single women being looked at "weirdly" a general statement is that people can't respect someone's free will.
My cousin is a single 40 year old female and her parents bother her all the time with 100 annoying comments.
-How come you don't want to get married?
-Aren't you ashamed that you never gave me a grandson? (It's about them not her)
and 100 other useless comments.
So, the best thing to do is ignore them and that's what she does.

She doesn't want to be married, she's happy and she's enjoying life. It's very simple really.
So instead of doing psychology of the "whys" go into the pursuit of your own happiness.

You are aware that the Founding Fathers, in their inimitable wisdom, only gave voting rights to property owners, and not women?

You should also be aware, that had women never been allowed to vote, its more than likely that we would not have murdered 70-80 million unborn children in this nation.

Had women not been allowed to vote, there is a very high likelihood that Obama or Biden would have never been President.

And before you say, "but I'm a Christian woman."

Here's a little polling for you on christian women and abortion.

https://research.lifeway.com/2021/1...have-had-an-abortion-identify-as-a-christian/

I'm not trying to hurt your feelings. But if you are a little hurt or angry right now. You're basically proving my point.

I love Christian women. I love that God made you caring and compassionate. I love all of your emotions and feelings, every sweet little thing about you that makes you a woman. And those are precisely all the reasons you should not vote.

Women were created by God to be much more concerned with the well being of others than their male counterparts. And yet, with all that compassion and tenderness built into you by Almighty God, women still murder their own children or support the murder of children at alarming rates. Why? Because its an highly charged emotional issue, and women are highly emotionally charged beings. And easily manipulated by those emotions.

Men were put here by God to love and protect our families too. But we are much more practical about how that should be done and not so easily swayed by our emotions. Its not a fault, its a feature.
I think all citizens should vote. Taxpayers should especially vote and should get representation. The issue of women not voting, is that women risk living in a place like the Middle East with virtually no rights. Also, you can basically forget any of the social welfare programs for the elderly, poor, single moms, etc as the majority of men would not vote for these programs. Women care more about the poor and needy, as you suggested above.

Did they use that exact phrase? "Aren't you ashamed that you never gave me a grandson?" Is that exactly how they said it?

Careful with that there inimitable wisdom thingy. Those same forefathers thought there was no problem with slavery, and definitely did not think black people should vote.

And those men also wore wigs. It was a weird time.

A lot of comments and discussion online on population decline and low birth rates devolve into hate on childless women (and also cats). I have seen comments such as childless women shouldn't vote, have a pension, and they will be old and lonely. There is something evil about these comments.

I don't really understand this, and am trying to pinpoint the core reasons why people (especially men) have negative views on childless women. There is a small group of women who do not like marriage or kids. Could it be that the haters think that all childless women are like this? Or, do people think these women have "lucked out" by not going through all the ups and downs of marriage and family life? Or, is it because childless people will need other people's kids to care for them in the future (won't be free obviously, will be paid). If people feel so sorry for old childless women, why the hate?
It helps to realise that much online comment is intended to shock and offend. Don't take it too seriously. However, the low birth rate is causing a lot of headaches for many societies. Perhaps if the underlying reasons were addressed instead of criticising the childless, the problem could be resolved.

Yes and you don’t even know the half of it.
The comments in my culture are very colorful and direct and some can’t even be translated properly in English.
They even compare her to her other friends who got married.
-look at such and such and such, she’s married now with a family. You have become a disappointment.
She laughs it off.
Two years after Covid when isolation struck the world down they sort of “forced” her to go on a date with a wealthy man but there was no chemistry there and when she told us (my wife and I) about it, we mentioned to her to not feel forced despite the isolation from Covid.
She told us that the date was weird, awkward and there was no chemistry.

But yeah, when you grow up in a culture with strong opinions you’re sort of a veteran which prepares you for anything in life.
Because even as children, they harp on you for not being “good enough”.

So these personal stories can go for pages but the point is that it all depends what one is looking for in life.
I like your attitude a lot by the way in regards to marriage and dating.
So God bless you and keep you safe.
There’s enough stress in life so if we take all the negative comments seriously we just add to it.
