Jesus doesn’t need to fulfill His Second Coming? That doesn’t need to be fulfilled???

Perhaps some feel this way, not for me, thats what we are waiting for, for Him to come back and fill all of His promises of no more sin, no more sorrow and for His saints to be with Him forevermore.

Jesus said all, needs to be fulfilled, not just some things and heaven and earth are here therefore so is God’s holy and righteous law.
Stick to the text.

No one cares what you or I want or think.

What is the text saying to us is what matters, your interpretation!

"not one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled"

You cannot deny that Jesus fulfilled the law completely.

You have already thrown six hundred laws in the bin and you turn around and say
the law, has not been fulfilled?

Yes stick to the Text, where does it say all is fulfilled until the cross and all the other prophecies not fulfilled do not count.

When did heaven and earth pass? When did Jesus come in the clouds and His saints met Him in the air. When did He wipe away all tears, no more sin, no more death, no more sorrow? When did He create a New Heaven and New Earth? All means ALL. Why breaking the least of these commandments and teaching others to break affects our status in heaven Mat 5:19 and least in heaven means one won’t be there if we read the next verse Mat 5:20

You keep using your words against the clear scriptures.

Where does it say not a jot or tittle will pass until the cross? Has heaven and earth passed? Jesus said breaking the least of the commandments affects our status in heaven and one would be in fear of sin and judgement. Mat 5:19-30 We are judged on the last day, not at the cross. John 12:48 We weren’t even born then. Why the saints keep the commandments of God and faith of Jesus until the end of time Rev 22:14 Rev 22:14
Your correct in your post if the "commandments" you quote, are the true commandments.

1 John 3:23-24
This is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another,
just as He commanded us. The one who keeps His commandments remains in Him, and He in him.
We know by this that He remains in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

Are you sure that the New Covenant commandments are the Old Covenant 10 commandments?

Jesus was making clear that a righteousness not of the law was necessary in order to enter heaven, for who would be more zealous of the law than the scribes and pharisees?

For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:20

Can you point to the verse that God established His New Covenant on better laws? God already defined His commandments Exo 20:6 which He said in the New Covenant He writes His law in our heart Heb 8:10

Jesus condemned the Pharisees for keeping their own rules over obeying the commandments of God quoting from the Ten Commandments - Mat 15:1-14 He called that worshipping in vain. Hence why breaking and teaching others to break the least of these one will be least in heaven and according to v 20, means one won’t be there. But we have free will to test any theory we want. Following the path of the Pharisees, not the path Jesus told us to take, but He allows us to make our own decisions.

All in the context does not mean all.

Jesus only had to fulfill all the Old Testament prophecy.

Luke 18:31
Now He took the twelve aside and said to them, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem,
and all the things that have been written through the prophets about the Son of Man will
be accomplished.

John 19:28
After this, Jesus, knowing that all things had already been accomplished, in order that the
Scripture would be fulfilled
, said, “I am thirsty.”

Are you trying to tell me that Jesus did not fulfill all the prophecy in the Old Testament.

The return of Jesus is not an Old Testament prophecy by the way.

You are clearly in error but you cannot admit to it.

So another one who knows better than He. All doesn’t mean all and what Jesus said is a moot point and we can disregard His teachings. Not all scripture has been fulfilled I recommend reading Isaiah, Daniel and Revelation and Mat 24, lots of the scripture that has not been fulfilled and will not be until Jesus comes back.

Rev 1:7
Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.

Can’t reason with this so I am going to sign out. I wish you well.

We never had free will, we are not good people, we cannot obey the law.

We are self centered, conceited, backstabbing, treacherous creatures.

We would never choose Jesus over the devil.

Not unless God intervenes.

Can you accept what Jesus was saying?

Now you’re god and know what a complete stranger on the internet does. Only He is all knowing and I would consider leaving the judging to Him. We will all be judged in the same way and there is nothing we can hide from Him Ecc 12:13-14 James 2:10-12 Plus you missed the point completely in Mat 15 which goes with the other teachings of Jesus which is not a moot point Mat 5:18-30

Take care. :)

Therefore you shall be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

There is only one way that I know of to be perfectly righteous.

One would need to accept the righteousness of Christ and as a gift.

I put no confidence in my flesh.

All things completed
Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. Daniel 9:24
After this, Jesus knowing that all things already have been finished, that the scripture should be completed, says, I thirst. John 19:28

And all things were finished before His death, burial and resurrection? You are confusing the things that He had to complete in His physical life on earth with the overall plan of God that is not completed until the events of Rev 22.
