1tim3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Luke 2:40
And the Child grew and became strong. He was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon Him.

They where told not to look back or would be swept away.

Gen 19
17 As soon as the men had brought them out, one of them said, “Run for your lives! Do not look back, and do not stop anywhere on the plain! Flee to the mountains, or you will be swept away!”
Which is exactly what Lot's wife did. Her motive was salvation.

Mar 8:35
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.

Luk 9:24
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

So the bible doesn't mention any children as being innocent, not even one?
I will try to help SW and I resolve an apparent disagreement by noting the following:

1. The Bible does not mention children being either innocent or condemned before they reach the age/stage of moral accountability, because its focus is on those who have reached that point in their development, beginning with Adam and Eve.

2. When sinners repent and accept Christ, they become clothed with the righteousness of Christ in God's eyes (per PHP 3:7-9, RM 4:3-11&22-24, GL 2:15-21 & 2CR 5:21 that was quoted), which means their guilt is forgiven as they strive for for perfection/spiritual maturity/ceasing sinning, and they become like A&E before their fall.

Does this help?

Her motivation wasn't salvation in looking back. She didn't do it because of Jesus's sake.

I understand that Jesus was innocent as both a baby, child and adult, but do you understand what I posted? I cannot tell from your reply that you agree the Bible does not mention children other than Jesus being either innocent or condemned before they reach the age/stage of moral accountability, because its focus is on those who have reached that point in their development, beginning with Adam and Eve.

Nor do I see you understanding and agreeing that when sinners repent and accept Christ, they become clothed with the righteousness of Christ in God's eyes (per PHP 3:7-9, RM 4:3-11&22-24, GL 2:15-21 & 2CR 5:21 that was quoted), which means their guilt is forgiven as they strive for perfection/spiritual maturity/ceasing sinning, and they become like A&E before their fall.

Thank you Homeward bound, for your comment. The statement "Under the Law" has been so misunderstood. The original word for "Law" was "Torah" which means "instruction" but it was translated to "Legis" in Latin, which means "legalism" So, are we "Under the Law?" The answers are both "Yes, and No" "NO" because we are not bound to legalism to attain salvation, because it is through faith in Messiah Yeshua only. but YES, we are "under God's instructions" in the WORD, to live a righteous, God-honoring lifestyle, The Commandments do NOT save us, they are there to guide us in righteous living only.
Love it truth over error(s) in this world, explained clearer to me, thank you
People punish as God Disciplines
there is a major difference
Just as I see the entire word, the Bible, Torah now included I see a Gigantic Jigsaw puzzle, and over the years reading and discerning seeing to stop see ing it my self as if I get it or got it, this includes other people too. I see now only Father does know the whole truth as revealed by Jesus's walk here on earth for us all to believe Daddy Father does just love us all.
So, not easy to see with all the commotions out there in on this earth to this day, one says, another says and so on and so forth.
God many a times in my walk has waited for me to ask God is that true or an error. Then me being willing would see God take out a jigsaw piece of the big puzzle I put there and put it where it goes and fit perfect, where I knew where I had put it, it fit just not a perfect fit as I have seen in physical jigsaw puzzles Alvin g to remove and put that piece elsewhere to fit and see the whole puzzle
I look at the Old Testament, and see when God had Moses build, and it was done. If I was a bird then, lookin g down at that bull Moses did I would see the cross of Jesus then, as I think Moses did see that also
Amazing truths, that can and are gleaned from the First testament to the New Testament is amazing g to me to see, when ever allowed by God to see it, amazes me

So the second Adam was innocent?
Romans 5:14
Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

1 Corinthians 15:45
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

Be made, reckoned as innocent by God father in the risen Son Jesus for you too, thank you
God loves us all 1 John 2:1-12

Those who followed baal was sacrificing children. God calls all the children innnocent who were sacrificed.

Jeremiah 19
4 Because they have forsaken me, and have estranged this place, and have burned incense in it unto other gods, whom neither they nor their fathers have known, nor the kings of Judah, and have filled this place with the blood of innocents;

People were sacrificing children, it's mentioned a couple of times in the old testament.

2 kings 16:3
Instead, he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel and even sacrificed his son in the fire, according to the abominations of the nations that the LORD had driven out before the Israelites.

God does not call or declare them Innocent of Adams sin. They are guilty. It is indicating that they were not the cause or blame for the current baal worship. Why do you think you can ignore the plain truth of man after the fall?

There is God and angels and elected in heaven.

Mark 13
27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

Before creation all who are elected were elected at that time. God saves all them.
