The work of God is simply to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ...John 6:28-29. Spiritual work is believing what God says. Faith is spiritual work.
All the work for our salvation has already been done. Jesus paid for our sins on the cross and lived a perfect life so His righteousness could be imputed to us. By trusting this we enter into rest. No longer do we need to strive to acquire peace with God. In Christ, we are already reconciled.

Well, you have been verified to be boasting only in the Christ, well done.

God’s seal beats it all and its found in the Sabbath commandment. His name ( God) Title (Creator) and Territory (Heaven and Earth) Exo 20:11 The Sabbath rest is according to the commandment Luke 23:56, not the way it sounds pleasing to the ears. The Sabbath commandment says we are to rest on the seventh day Exo 20:8-11 just as God did.

It’s like the command not to eat the fruit from the tree of knowledge. Does eat doesn’t really mean eat, no He meant spiritual food, God didn’t really say not to actually eat. We can always spiritualize away anything God commanded, but at the end who are we really following? God said He would not alter His words Psa 89:34 Mat 5:18, seems like a bad idea to do it anyway.

The only way to establish harmony between Jew and Gentile in the first century.

Was to modify the filthy behavior of the Gentiles because the Jews were appalled by the Gentiles.

Gentiles ate food offered to foreign Gods in the presence of Jews, that is intolerable for a Jew.

Gentiles ate meat with the blood in it and that was in complete defiance of God.

Gentiles had no sexual restraint and they were out of control, how can a Jew go to church
with a filthy, evil Gentile.

Jesus was a Jew, Jesus was circumcised, and Jesus obeyed the law, and that's what matters Paul.

Your dead wrong Paul.

The Gentiles must obey the law.
You are overgeneralizing.

God loves all.
And wants to save all.

There is history between the Jews and the surrounding nations and God promised Abraham that by his seed (Singular, Jesus).
All nations would be blessed.

Gen 22:18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

Jesus died for all.

Think about the path Jesus took.
Joh 4:5 Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.

And Jesus a Jew asked a Samaritan woman for drink..... very humble for Jesus.

Joh 4:9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.

Joh 4:21-24
21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

The hour had come .... True worship was about the Spirit and truth.

Joh 4:34-35
34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. 35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.

The harvest that Jesus was interested in was Samaritans...

Joh 4:40-42
40 So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days. 41 And many more believed because of his own word; 42 And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

There is no doubt that God choose the Jews so that Jesus could be born and all nations could be blessed. But today we are all one in Christ.

Paul is clear that today, there is neither Jew nor gentile. It is all about our hearts.

Gal 3:28-29
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Col 3:10-11
10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: 11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

Rom 2:28-29
28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

From Acts 15:20 plus 28 Abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals, and from blood. It seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us not to burden you with anything beyond these essential requirements

Your talking about the new creation in Christ.

Here are the verses you quoted again and read them again.

Gal 3:28-29
28 for you are all one in Christ Jesus...

Col 3:10-11
10 And have put on the new man...

Rom 2:28-29
28 in the spirit, and not in the letter...

This is not about the human heart it's about the new creation in the spirit.

Rom 2:28-29
in the spirit, and not in the letter...

Your doing my job for me!

The text identifies Israel as the recipient of the law, Paul told us that.

Therefore, the law of the sabbath was for Jews only.

The text is silent about a sabbath for the Gentiles.
You ignore text to accommodate your belief system. That's Sophistry.

You have nothing to discuss with Bible reading Christians.

God does not change!
The creation itself changed and went from the old creation to the new creation.

The sons of Adam became the sons of Jesus Christ.

We went from fallen self righteousness to Christ's righteousness.

Some were holding onto broken stone tablets reminding them of the old creation.

2 Corinthians 5:16-17
Therefore from now on we recognize no one by the flesh; even though we have known Christ by the flesh,
yet now we know Him in this way no longer. Therefore if anyone is in Christ, this person is a new creation;
the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.

We are looking ahead to the reality of the new heaven and earth.

Colossians 1:13
For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son.

We are in the new kingdom of His Son.

You have nothing to discuss with Bible reading Christians.
The real sophistry are the interpretations that alter the text.

Romans 9:4
Who are Israelites, to whom belongs the adoption as sons and daughters, the glory, the covenants,
the giving of the Law, the temple service, and the promises.

The verse above states that Israel had the law!

When you see the phrase "the law" you change that phrase to "the ceremonial law".

And you accuse me of sophistry?

I do not ignore any text and I do not interpret any text.

We are in the new kingdom of His Son.
Doesn't it feel like we are in an entirely new world though? It seems to me that I am existing in a current state of neither here nor there, living in a sort of divine paradox.

To @TMS, and other sisters and brothers in Christ here, you might consider you could be discussing the Bible with those who adhere to the tenets of Replacement Theology. Aka, Supersessionism.
