I'm so bad with social connections that it even shows through when I pray for someone else.

Everyone who I prayed for a better relationship in their future, without fail, found a worse one. Even people I probably wouldn't have seen or contacted again, I always end up finding out that their life just kept getting progressively worse.

100% of any real life relationship success stories I'm aware of, are the people I didn't know to pray for because I didn't know they were "missing" anything in life.

Just pray the Lord will help them have a closer walk with Him. He knows what people need a lot better than we do. That way you're praying for their good and you won't have to worry about if you're causing them to have bad relationships. Win-win.

Have you ever considered none of those things have anything to do with you or your prayers? That maybe those people made their own bad choices?
Praying for them is one thing, but that's not going to make them make better choices. They have the free will to do whatever they want and prayer isn't a magical thing that makes people smarter or wiser.

I see this a lot. People looking at anothers circumstance and somehow trying to apply it to themselves. These things didn't happen to you. And you did nothing to make them happen. This is about Their lives, not yours. So perhaps it's best to leave it at that.

🤣 pessimistic much? Seriously that really sucks if you believe that, and clearly you do. So this is how I would go about it moving forward.

You are putting too much faith in yourself. I get really anxious when I do this, like your message here.

When you pray think about who God is and not what you can do. Personally I use verses from the Bible to use while praying. It's actually genius bc God can't lie and so his word you repeat must hold true. And so it holds him responsible for abiding by his word, while also increasing your faith. Particularly when he answers your prayer which is amazing.

I keep a prayer journal, which is just a pocket Bible. I highlight the verse I like for prayer and tab it. Different colors mean different things. I only use my favorites which give the highest faith in God. I enjoy it this way and it helps keep me on track. I have people on my front page and cross off when prayer was answered, which right now is a lot. If I get anxious I pull it out and remind myself God's word.

I always start with this one:

Listen to my voice in the morning Lord. Each morning i bring my requests to you and wait expectantly. Psalm 5:3

I also like... "As soon as I pray you answer me. You encourage me by giving me strength. " psalm 138:3

" you can pray for anything, and if you have faith, your will receive it." Matthew 22:22

Health- use a lot for prayers for people.

O Lord my God I cried out to you for help and you restored my health. Psalm.30:2

I will give you back your health, and heal your wounds. Jeremiah 31:17
