The Alpha Course holds a special place in my heart because, long story short, it was while I was attending that a couple of decades ago that I finally came to the realization that I no longer need any more convincing of the Truth of God's revealed written Word, surrendered my opposition to God, got baptized, and began my Christian journey in earnest. The videos themselves are meant to be watched over dinner in a community setting, where participants get to ask questions of the hosts, but by themselves, they are just so chock full of wonderful info and facts about our faith that I often recommend them to those new to the faith and/or those looking for help in their walk.
