I believe Adam chose wrong and I believe Cain also chose wrong
“Then the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast? If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? ( option one )
But if you do not do what is right, ( option 2 and it’s consequence ) sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.””
Genesis 4:6-7 NIV
Yes Sir. Those are indeed proof passages that WRECK the addled pretensions of the Calvinites.
And there are MULTITUDES of similar.
Furthermore, these early SCENARIOS are intended to convey the
"initial conditions" of a yet-to-be redeemed mankind which are present to this very day.
Choice, free will, desire, God's calling and our response.
Furthermore, the fact that God was interacting in a purposeful manner with post-fall sons of Adam here in Genesis 4 makes no sense as regards the Calvinite view. I mean, how did they somehow defuse their "total inability" perceive God and hear Him to begin with? And why did Abel (and others) have the capacity defuse their "total depravity" sufficient enough to obey while others did not?
According to the Calvinites, BOTH Cain and Abel (and everybody else at that APPOINTED PLACE OF SACRIFICE.....probably hundreds)
should have been at WAR with God
with no other option.
But this is not the case. Nor was it the case with post-fall Adam and the Woman.
Both WAITED ON GODS RETURN, with Adam knowing full well that God (Jehovah Jireh) would PROVIDE the solution to sin and death.
Both PARTICIPATED in the Genisis 3 trial as WILLING witnesses for the prosecution,
and WILLINGLY confessed their sin and fingered Satan as the instigator and perpetrator.
None of this profundity registers with the Calvinites. They are just too far gone.
