Prayer Request for My Father, David Chai

My father, David Chai, is facing a second surgery. He's currently recovering from a previous procedure to address sepsis, pyonephrosis, and a staghorn calculus. He's also battling a nosocomial fever. His doctors are carefully monitoring his renal function and adjusting his medications (Metformin, Telmisartan, Atorvastatin) due to concerns about his kidney and liver function. As his only family member, I am carrying a heavy burden of worry and concern.

Please pray for:

- A successful surgery: That the surgery will go smoothly and without complications.
- Complete healing: That his body will heal quickly and completely, restoring his strength and health.
- God's comfort and peace: For my father to experience God's peace and comfort during this challenging time, and for me to find strength and peace as well.
- Wisdom for the medical team: That the doctors and nurses will have wisdom and guidance in their care of my father.
- Strength and comfort for me: For strength, comfort, and guidance for me as I navigate this difficult time alone.

May the Lord answer prayers and show much kindness for your precious father. My heart goes out to you. I have faced similar challenges with my parents too. Any time you need to talk, feel free to reach out here. Humanly speaking, I had my friends here at the forum and several near home as the medical staff wore me down. I would not have made it without the Lord's comfort help and that of my family here.

Father I lift up Jane to you right now! Allow her to recognize your presence as she goes through this hard time! Allow the trust and confidence to rise that you are who you say you are, and the confidence to know that you will do what you say you will do. That YOU Father are always but always in control of every situation! Give her strength and wisdom and understanding and counsel directly from you as she suffers along side her father! Praise you Father the you are always in control and you know exactly how to move! You always have our best interest at heart! Amen.
