Anyone has knowledge when the Lord's year begins/end
How about Genesis 5
3 When Adam had lived a hundred and thirty years, he became the father of a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth. 4 The days of Adam after he became the father of Seth were eight hundred years; and he had other sons and daughters. 5 Thus all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years; and he died.
6 When Seth had lived a hundred and five years, he became the father of Enosh. 7 Seth lived after the birth of Enosh eight hundred and seven years, and had other sons and daughters. 8 Thus all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years; and he died.
9 When Enosh had lived ninety years, he became the father of Kenan. 10 Enosh lived after the birth of Kenan eight hundred and fifteen years, and had other sons and daughters. 11 Thus all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years; and he died.
12 When Kenan had lived seventy years, he became the father of Ma-hal′alel. 13 Kenan lived after the birth of Ma-hal′alel eight hundred and forty years, and had other sons and daughters. 14 Thus all the days of Kenan were nine hundred and ten years; and he died.
Lord was counting years that when they were born, had children and when they died.
Anno Domini? Supposedly when the Lord was first born as a baby.
----------------------------------------------------------You're pretty sharp so I know you're making a point.
I'm just not getting it.
Can you present it in another way?
----------------------------------------------------------
Maybe I'm not being clear. Just as we have Jan 1 begin a new year, i believe the Lord has a set day. If He didnt how could he track the liefspan of the patriarchs?
Most people work backwards, ending with Adam. Are you suggesting there is another way?
Most people work backwards, ending with Adam. Are you suggesting there is another way?
I do, and yes for accuracy I work from Adam and besides that how God explained it to Moses.
Starting from creation God said it was good and very good. Meaning it was exactly the way He planned it. Another way of saying this it was a time without sin. So, what in the scriptures denote no sin for 7 days?
In the first 7 days of creation there was no sin for man. I don't believe those were 7, 24 hour days, though, as the way in which an earth day is measured did not exist until day 4.
OK, we losing the aspect of the * REVOLUTION * of the year.
Just as when Adam was 130 years old when he had Seth and died 800 years later, God was tracking time from when Adam was made on the sixth day. Let's see if anyone else as an opinion
Was he? Or did he start tracking after Adam was banished from the garden?
What's time to a person who won't die?
------------------------------------------------------------------------Great point, who knows how long in that garden they were before eating took place of that one wrong tree to know good and bad. Makes sense to me no need to track
answers to me how archeologists find this earth millions years old.
‘again the mysteries of God. I think and see we only in truth get the cliff notes, of what isimportant. I see to also watch out for conjectures making them doctrines as Paul talks about to the corinth
the only thing Doctrine he died once for us all to be born again as new
build however will, it will be rewarded or not by God or not
how to rest in that? Believe God and simply truly love all as called, yes those that do wrong, yes, I know I have and God died for us all Rom 2:1-4
God is outside of time
Genesis 1:14 And God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to separate the day from the night; and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years,
31 And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, a sixth day.
