Are you for real?

That means you will have NOTHING to show for the time you were saved, other than having once believed in Jesus Christ..
Never having glorified Christ whom you will then love so much, it will hurt in shame to know that you selfishly chose to do
things your own way in preference to how He wanted it to be done.

If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved
—even though only as one escaping through the flames.

1 Corinthians 3:15
No rewards.
No, having pleased the Lord with your life by right thinking with God's Word.

You can have it...
But that isn't what you said originally. Originally, you said we will all NEED to build with gold, silver, precious stones. Certainly not needed for the salvation of one's soul! What happens, for example, to someone who comes to saving faith in Christ and shortly thereafter dies? Take the thief on the cross, as an example? When do such people get a chance to build with gold, silver or precious stones?

No I believe God offers salvation to all and some will accept the offer and be saved , and others will reject it and choose thier own lusts and desires instead of Jesus offer because of repentance and righteousness
Oh...so you believe Jesus is a potential savior of all men? Got chapter and verse for that?

“For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.”
‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭4:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.”
‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭2:3-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;

but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15-16‬ ‭

“and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
‭‭2 Thessalonians‬ ‭2:10-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

None of those passages say anything about Jesus merely being a potential or possible savior. Don't you know that Jesus is the Savior of the entire world (each and every person in it!), cf. Jn 3:17. God sent his Son to actually save the entire world.

It will become a part of the foundational basis for how He will judge us.
Ahhh, actually, no, it is not the foundation for how we will be judged. The foundation for how we will be judged is whether
or not we have been justified and made righteous through Christ, not by our works or the lack thereof. And that demonstrates that your belief is founded in works for salvation, not in grace and through Christ. Quite revealing actually.

And, suspect, I will find out that some things I was sure about… (and others agreed with me)will be found not to be the truth at all.
Good suspicion on your part - on this, we agree.

What's happening here is going on record in Heaven.
Winners and losers are being sorted out before the Lord for us to see,
who will use our own words either against us, or for God's glory.
Going on record in Heaven? Winners and losers? Really? Let me ask you this: what do think Christ's achievement was and brought forth as the Savior? What do you think the purpose of a Savior is?

But wait. You said that my interpretation was incorrect. And now you say that there NO interpretation exists.
Which of course is absurd, seeing as ALL Bible scholars of repute know better.

But then again, the Reformed Calvinites never did understand the OT.
And if they did, they would no longer be Reformed Calvinites.

"rogerg said:
Because your interpretations are incorrect."
I can say that because what you said bears no resemblance whatsoever to the gospel of grace - the gospel of Jesus Christ - where Jesus Christ alone is its centerpiece. If you got that from "Bible scholars", were I you, I'd start looking for some new ones - guess that's what happens when you go to Costco for Bible instruction. Anyway, you shouldn't need any Bible scholars. God tells us that everything needed to equip the man of God is already included within the Bible - just read it on your own and follow its rules for its interpretation and forget your "scholars". Maybe that's your problem,

Oh, that's easy for a freewiller to answer: The purpose is so that he can potentially save each and every person in the world. His purpose is to REACT to sinners' "freewill" decisions.

Yup, which in effect, would un-Savior the Savior.

It's really sad and even frightening that so many freewillers cannot trust on The Rabbi to teach them. I wonder if they think He's unqualified and, therefore, not up to the task...?

Yeah, it's like they're saying to Him, be quiet, we like our way better, we got this.

If you really want to know my Christian education? ....

I should tell you about my pastor-teacher who has been my post graduate study since graduating from the Bible college.
He taught six nights a week, from Hebrew and Greek texts. And, taught historical backgrounds for a passage setting
when applicable.

Now, that I could agree to get involved with....
The other, was a Bible college that taught the basics on an excellent level when I attended.
It has shut down.
But, my pastor? His materials are still available for your evaluation.
I was initially curious if it was Southern Bible college, Lee University, CCU.

That you avoid a simple answer to a question that seeks a simple answer over and over again and after boasting of your education and claim of graduating with honors tells me all I need to know.

Thank you.

Based upon his posts, I think it may have been Tony's Atomic School of the Bible and Bar and Grill

Can you accept that I do want to tell you?
That is the case...
That was obvious from your first reply. I'll be direct.
I don't believe your claim of having attended a Bible college and graduating with honors.

Those who have actually done so are not ashamed to give its name.

His college was so good that it "shut down", according to him. I'm just wondering if they shut it down before or after he attended. Maybe they saw him coming and figured they best cut their losses.

What are we told about mockery? :(
If I may, I find your post to be unkind. We do not gain anything in a debate if we seek to hurt someone's feelings by making fun of them.

Please consider my words are offered with love and respect.

Genez and I studied under R.B. Thieme, who was a graduate of DTS, whereas I attended SWBTS. However, I believe my main teachers have been the writers of GW & the HS, culminating in the Gospels containing the TOJ and the epistles of Paul, after whom I named my son. Although I was raised as a Baptist, after reading the Bible on my own I considered myself to be a nondenominational Christian, and when I compiled a website (that I offer to y'all as a resource to also copy & paste from like I do :^), I named it <truthseekersfellowship.com>
