Brother I think you have a lot of ideas that need to be separated into their own group for clarification.
I will break these ideas Into two main groups.

Online Interactions
and
Real life interactions.

Online interactions on the internet should be seen primarily as a tool to exchange knowledge.
The internet is not a tool to evangelize because you are missing the kindness acts we would do in real life. You are missing you as a person, with a voice , body language and appearance.
You should see it primarily as a way for you to check if you’ve ever heard of an idea or a Bible interpretation.
This is how i treat the internet.
In this internet community and others I have learned a lot of interesting ideas from the least likely groups sometimes such as Mormons or Calvinists to include a few.
Now I don’t know if they’re Mormons or Calvinists but their language that they use online, lines us with Mormons or Calvinists.
So they have said interpretations which are interesting to look more into and learn.
That’s it. That’s all the internet is good for.
Exchange knowledge and ignore all the things you’ve heard before and forgive anything else.
This was the intent when the internet was invented, to exchange knowledge rapidly, instead of using mail or fax machines.

Real life is different.
You mentioned friends and family.
How do you get them to repent?

This is not easy but at least it’s more clear compared to the internet.
Meaning, in real life you know better where the situation hinges whereas online you don’t know anything about people’s motivations.
They could be trolling, they could be atheists, they could be simply confused, maybe they’re sick? I don’t know.
That’s why judging them seems a bit premature because we don’t and we can’t know anything about people online.
But in real life this is more clear. And when it’s clear and you know then reserve judgment again and try to use Paul’s approach in Greece. This sometimes can take years with family or friends.

I will give you an example with my extended family.
I have many members of the family who don’t believe.
For some you have to wait for an opportunity such as a need, where you can show through your act that you are there to selflessly help them, without saying much, so their hearts can change.
Because they know you believe, they know it, but they just want to see you acting on your beliefs, they don’t want preaching.
Preaching can make them mad.
So sometimes through tears and hugs and sincere talk you can reach a new level of connection with them which can lead them to God.
This is why we need to start by doing first in real life, then talking.

The other side of this coin is that some people will never believe or they may believe at their last moments like the thief in the cross or I don’t know how God’s ways will work on them even when they see the Creation itself which is a miracle.
But we have to make peace with this that we can’t bring everyone to God.

Then there’s also another category of friends and family who are sort of people whose energy you need to stay away from.
Dust the dust off your shoes Jesus said.
You need to be firm and true with these people that their actions might have hurt you, end the relationship, forgive them from the heart because they do not know what they do and move on.

That’s all I can do here and now brother.

First I am not brother. Second I am seeking communication to talk to anyone who wants to discuss their faith. Looks to me that you do not if offends you otherwise you would not send such a large dissafaction. I have subscribed to talk about anything and everything (within reason). If my faith is disturbing to you maybe you should except this writer for who she is and not to condem. If again this Christian and again I say Christian site has issues with sharing and wanting to talk about their faith, then the heading Christian chat needs to specify No discussion of of your faith.
Thank you brother.

First I am not brother.
Since that was your very first post, nobody addressed you as brother. Eli was speaking to the OP,
which you seemed to be greatly offended by for some very strange reason that I can assure you
was groundless, at least as far as Eli himself is concerned. If you use the quote system as it is
intended, and most people do, then everyone else will almost always know who you are speaking
to (except when they have someone blocked), If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask!.

It's ok. I have no idea what that person is saying or if she was talking to me.
I am going to file this under "Technology issues".
We have senior members here like Shitim who never use the quote system (intentionally or un-intentionally) or the tag system, so i have no idea what he's talking about either, when there's a convo between other members.
So i also file that under "Technology issues" in text-based communication in the Internet.

:coffee: Good morning to you Magenta and let's stay warm today but the days are getting longer. We are on a journey towards summer, God-willing. :D

is all I was hoping for but I feel I'm being missunderstood and vice verser. Thank you.

Good morning, Eli!!! I am just at work here enjoying coffee, would you like some? :coffee: :coffee: :coffee:

Yes, we do have people joining at all levels of comfort and ease of using this new fangled tech, and though I find navigating and posting images and vids etc to be no problem, there is always something new to learn, especially as new devices keep coming out... for instance, on my phone I am way more limited with what I can do, and so when I know I am not going to be busy at work, I bring my laptop in with me, because then I can also do my designing! And I do have express permission to occupy myself as I see fit while at work as long as there is not much else to do. I have been here for half an hour already and have not even made it out of the lunchroom yet LOL. TGIF!!!

TGIF indeed!
Let's have a nice cup of coffee!

Technology changes too fast even for me as a tech person and one of the things i mention in group meetings at work is to SLOW DOWN with the updates which change the user interface especially.
Every month Microsoft pushes updates which change the layout of Microsoft Outlook or Windows operating system itself.
They just annoy people basically.

"Oh we've noticed that you have disabled the windows search box near the windows start menu to save taskbar space, but we on the Microsoft team want to get in your FACE about how great our search box is, so we're going to override your settings and choices and make the search box bigger again so we can waste your taskbar space".

I have just poured hot water over the ground beans for pot-of-coffee number two .:D. Then that will be the end of coffee for me today... I am still using Firefox here after Microsoft broke our reactions LOL. People are still mentioning this issue, and it's been since last September I think, already!!! I have two phones at work and the older one is the best as far as reactions are concerned, as they all show up and I can select without having to try to guess where they are as I do on my newer phone, heh, guess where they are and then press that blank space and hoe for the best, or if the name of the reaction appears, then move my finger to that... sigh, the things we do for love! Haha. Anyway, the coffee is just about ready to press here...
