Im 14 and in 8th grade and just dont understand some things that are happening in this world and schools about transgendered, I know im young yet and have a lot to learn just a few examples, im from a small town and a small school district but my cousin lives in a larger city and larger school district but in the same state, I know a boy his name is Mark but wants to be referred to as Mary and his gf or bf whatever is Cindy but wants to be referred to as Chuck which being polite I do that when I remember to, I don't understand it but ok, they are bf and gf now as their God given genders but want to change their genders and still be bf and gf which they already are, really dont get that at all but so be it, I can live with that but when it comes to transgendered boys or girls using the restrooms of what they identify as or boys in girl sports and im sure girls in boys sports but dont really hear much about that I do have a problem and honestly believe any parent or grandparent would have a problem with it also and I guess politicians would also but dont admit it thats what I really dont understand. If a transgendered boy was competing against me in swimming, gymnastics or any sport I play to me thats a problem, thats not happening where I live yet but is where my cousin lives and think just a matter of time it may here. Just prospective from me as being a student Ps way to many pronouns to remember also Im she her and proud of it, not them they or whatever else they come up with, Im ok with gays if they want to live that lifestyle but transgender is something I dont understand but maybe I will at some time in life. Really would like to hear what others think.

Without knowing anything about you, here are some high level general responses.

* The parents should choose a school with a healthy setting. My wife and i chose a great school in our state for our 16 year old boys who are in high school.
* The parents should teach the children that there are a lot of stupid people out there doing stupid things. The world is fallen Biblically so you need to deal with that by having peace through faith.
* Don't judge stupid people. Let them be.
* Don't change because of stupid people. You are your own person.

That's all i can tell as as general high-level responses.

This is a true story in Connecticut where my friend used to take his daughter.

It’s mostly because too many people are enablers instead of leaders. They would rather feel comfortable about pleasing others, instead of sticking to a moral standard and disciplining others who don’t rise to those standards. The government has been giving too much power to the children, even though they don’t possess the life experience, wisdom or fully formed brain as an adult. I think every teacher needs to have a psyche evaluation and go through a rough interview process, in order to become a teacher or even before college before becoming a teacher. There also needs to be someone on campus monitoring these classrooms during school hours, to make sure these teachers uphold the moral standard set before them.

I’ve worked many jobs with high surveillance and people were on their best behavior. If they don’t believe God is watching them, having a security camera, with someone watching and listening to everything they do, will make them think twice about their behavior and will even force them to make better decisions.

These things happen because Satan is actively trying to corrupt things, and people who don't know God well enough end up falling for the corruptions. Really that is all of us, though, since all of us have predelications for some kind of sins. This is why we need a savior - to save us from our wretched state that can do no good. We all have a choice, though, in whether we embrace our sin or ask God to restore us to original intent.

As for transgenderism in particular, there are factors that can cause someone to have real issues there, but there has also been an active push in society, sourced from satan, towards such perverted behaviors as transgenderism and homosexuality. An example of a real issue is a child who's parent went around hating on a particular gender during that child's formative years, even in the womb since the harm is actually spiritual. Both God and science, as well as my sister who worked in psychology, report that lesbianism is generally tied to sexual assault, but gay men are the result of something more complicated.

How one should respond isn't always simple though. I personally can't see using someone else's pronouns that are inconsistent with what God made because it is agreeing with a destructive lie. It says in 1st Corinthians 13 that love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. I'm a little reluctant to make it an absolute statement, though, that false pronouns should never be used since I can't possibly know every scenario. Fortunately, God is available to help every one of his faithful children navigate the difficulties of living a righteous life in a corrupt world. Do realize, though, that kindness, which is giving someone what they need, is not always the same as niceness, which is giving someone what they want. I'm sure the money changers of Jesus day didn't want their tables overturned but Jesus knew what they really needed.

May you be brave enough to walk the course that God has placed before you in righteousness.

I thought that would be the case but because we are so aware and most of us are always on our best behavior, that's to the Holy Spirit, that it is hard for them to "catch us in the act."

I had a situation happen, where a warehouse employee wouldn't show me what was in his bag when he was leaving the warehouse. It was my job to make sure nothing was stolen from that warehouse. I'm white, him being black. He starts cursing me out and saying that I'm some kind of racist because I was doing my job correctly and he took his bag before I was able to look inside. He was yelling art me, I started yelling at him, saying "I'm just trying to do my job" over and over again, while he calls me every offensive word liberals use against a white male in an authority role. Because I was in the right and said nothing discriminatory, he got fired and I kept my job.

Maybe a month or so after that, I did end up quitting though. It was a good job.

it will. Got to be prepared for it. A lot of new Christians become Christians, thinking that life is just going to get better and better from here on out but I have experienced some of the hardest times as a Christian, especially the last two years.
