Jesus: single
Paul: single
John?: single

Some of the greats

Me? Single?: no

I had my John, Jesus and Paul seasons. Those seasons will get anyone ready for marriage. You begin to trust God more and realize that He has your best interest in heart. Like, everything you do and touch is blessed because of you going through those seasons.

While everyone’s houses were burning down in the county I live in this past week. I had no care in the world because I know that God is protecting me. I only looked outside once, the whole week. I even got emergency alerts telling me to evacuate my home because my house was potentially going to burn to the ground. I spent my days working on my music, setting up my music artist social media accounts, making playlists on different music streaming sites, designing my artist profiles on different streaming services and talking to my future wife, because that is how much I trust God. When you have that type of trust in God’s predestination for you, you are unstoppable and you won’t be afraid of marriage.
I believe the fire, as well other natural events like hurricanes, earthquakes, etc., are part of the fall. I do not believe God originally created the world that way. Mel Gibson lost his home, and he is a Christian. It is best to evacuate if you get the alert. If you don't and there is immediate danger, this is suicidal. If God tells you stay, that is different. You have to discern carefully if you are hearing this from God.

Yeah, even rain was not in the original plan. God used a much more elegant system before it got broke during the flood.

I've been single for over a year and I sometimes need to be reminded that I'm not alone.
Hi hi, same here. However, you are not alone because Jesus promised He would never leave us forsaken. He always creates divine appointments with the right person at the right time. 🙂

There are a few here that struggle a little with being single. I was single when I joined in 2014. Met my future wife about a month later who is also a member. Got married later in the year and have recently celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary. You are definitely not alone in this.
Quite encouraging. Happy Married Life to you...Fingers crossed 🤗🤞

Was single for a little over 12 years, accepted Jesus as lord and savior almost
11 years ago, started going to church that month, almost eleven years later, that church invites me to become a member. For the last few years, I have been seeking God every day in prayer and scripture reading for an average of three hours a day. Almost three months ago, I crossed paths with a woman on here who checkmarked all of the boxes I was looking for in a marriage partner. Sometimes you just got to believe that God has someone special lined up just for you and it will just happen in His perfect timing.

He sure does...🙂

I’m very recently single as my wife has taken my kids to move in with her BF, with zero notice .

Of course I’m not single. I can’t even date agin before a couple of years when the marriage is annulled , but I’m dealing with the loss of a decade of marriage and isolation from 2 beautiful children.

But this is NOT a ‘boo-boo’ reply .

It’s been 3 months so far and I’ve gone through dark times. Then I finally opened back up to the Holy Spirit and am slowly moving back…actually moving back at pace this week…to remembering :

You are never alone if you open your heart to God. All human relationships, no matter how deep, are as nothing compared to that.

Yes I’m single now and I may well always be single . But , if I listen to the Holy Spirit, I’ll never be alone …in fact , I’ll have companionship beyond human replication
