Our Lord gave us 2 Commandments. According to him there is no greater commandments than these 2 commandments. What is the 1st Commandment?

Okay. What’s your point?
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Our Lord Jesus Christ said the importance of the 2 Commandments. Because these are the Greatest Commandments.
MARK 12:31
31
And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

The First Commandment (complete) is more than in any offerings and sacrifices.
MARK 12:32-33
32
And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:
33 And to love him
with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.

Without fulfilling Mark 12:29 (mentioned again in Mark 12:32), we can't fulfill Mark 12:30 (mentioned again in Mark 12:33).

Without fulfilling The First Commandment in Mark 12:29-30, we can't fulfill Mark 12:31.
Because God The Father alone could reveal Who are The Neighbors to be Loved.

The different groups in Christianity who they are loving are the FELLOWMEN.
Fellowmen is different from Neighbors.

Yes, these are just 2 Commandments which are the greatest Commandments of them all.
But to fulfill these 2 Commandments must be started to the top (To Know God And To Love Him) so that we can go to bottom (Love Thy Neighbor as Thy Self).

If we just Loving God without Knowing Him First, never reveal to us who are The Neighbors to Love.

Why didn’t you just say that He said not to love your neighbor, but you fellow man.

My point is How to Fulfill The Commandments of God.
The Commandment of God is Love Thy Neighbor as Thyself and Not Love Thy Fellowmen.
Since there are 2 kinds of Love.

1.) Love from God (God's Standard)
2.) Love from Man (Man's Standard)

*The Love of God is Eternal (Can't Be Seen) Love Thy Neighbor as Thyself.
*The Love of Man is Temporal (Can Be Seen) Love Thy Fellowmen.

This is what Paul Said in:
2CORINTHIANS 4:18
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Love Thy Neighbor as Thyself.
There must be an equal Love between thy Neighbor and Yourself.

Love Thy Fellowmen.
It is a very limited. It can't be equal love between fellowmen and yourself.

How do we fulfill The First Stanza of The First Commandment (Hear O Israel, The Lord Our God is One Lord)?
We must identify so that we can recognize The One True God sitting in One Throne in heaven seen by Apostle John.
REVELATION 4:2
2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.

MARK 12:29-31

29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:

30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

“Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us:

and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.”

Let us listen to God The Father.
He is not after the sacrifice of the people. He is longing for The Fulfillment of The First Commandment in Mark 12:29
HOSEA 6:6
6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

How can we fulfill the First of all the Commandments (To Know The One True God)?

Saul of Tarsus who want to serve God because he loved God.
This is why Saul of Tarsus studied in a bible school through Gamaliel.
Then he became a religious leader as Pharisee.

But To Love God without knowing him first is not loving God but persecuting Him..
ACTS 9:5
5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

Saul of Tarsus so that he can fulfill the First Stanza which Hear O Israel, The Lord our God is One Lord or To Know God.
Saul of Tarsus admitted to Jesus that he never Know The One Lord and One God.
ACTS 9:5
5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

This is the First step from Saul of Tarsus and God introduce himself to Saul of Tarsus and he became Paul.

The greatest commandments to love God with all our heart and love thy neighbor is the Ten Commandments summarized.

Rom 13:9 For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” [a]“You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” all found in Ten Commandments

The details should never be replaced with our version of love to God or love to our neighbor. Love is more than a feeling, it produces an action

1 John 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.

The Ten Commandments are centered on love and what the whole bible hangs on, how to love God, how to love our neighbor.

God wrote and God spoke these words, right in the Ten Commandments

Exo 20:6 but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
