Correct me if I'm wrong but, the only time that term was used Acts 2, was to be directed at differing dialects to be understood who were there that day, not for the unintelligible utterance (tongues).

My point is when it began being used. The Reformed didn't rightly Divide the Word while members stand in the liquor store buying alcohol. Nope, they said Jesus drank wine so them buying a 12 pack per night is Bible. That's not Biblical. That's an excuse to drink. But to them it's rightly dividing the Word.

15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.
The KJV was mistranslated from the 3rd Century Jerome's Latin Vulgate which was mistranslated incorrectly.

The limitation is only the limitations we put on it, when God decides to work in you with the tongues and you actually have that gift your willingness is all that is needed you can be speaking to someone and suddenly out of nowhere it just starts happening there are no limitations in Christ
not everyone has the gift it is not something we can just practice until we get it right but it feels something like a bubbling inside you and it is hard to contain like a river it just flows out of you
Well you would think but no her so called tongues is not from God it is just gibberish she uses it to curse to people not bless them or edify them.

I think if one was to speak in tongues in their alone time with God it is to worship and pray if in church then yes I would say interpretation is needed I see no evidence to suggest otherwise
God being no respecter of persons simply means He acts sovereignly, and not with respect to anything within a person.

This is farming imagery, as a farmer who is plowing a field would seek to cut straight furrows in order to plant rows of seed. When plowing, a farmer would look at a point on the other side of the field and focus on that point to ensure the line cut in the dirt was straight. This is what the good student of the Word is doing, as well: remaining focused on the goal or outcome and being diligent to handle the Word of God properly.
