Dan 2: 44 And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed,

I place this Kingdom shortly after the antichrist takes his seat in the temple of God. Like 1335th day of the Tribulation. Rapture/Resurrection at Rev. 14:14--

He set up that kingdom about 2,000 years ago, when Jesus began His ministry. His kingdom is not of this world.

I place this in the risen Son, once Father gives it and reveals this to anyone, that will not deny God ever. To live in us and through us the new Church in us each in love to all, thanks

Yes, a future, that day not here yet, revelations 22 a new earth and new heaven as Father comes down and Jesus gives the keys to Father then

Yet today present, in us living his risen Life through us to see new in love to all
Yes even that person, the befriended you and used you and stole and lied to you. That you have troubles forgiving. Not taking into account you deserve to be condemned as well
Forgiving is not forgetting it is letting go of bad things, not going after any retribution

Read Matthew 18: 24-35
About being forgiven and thus forgiving in thanksgiving and praise to God for forgiving us all first.
Not easy to truthfully forgive everyone, anyone as God did going to that cross for us all is it?
He did that, time to see that and go "woe is me as in Isaiah 6:1-7" tells me anyways, love to all is the call from God to us all, First in death for reconciliation to all. then risen Life to live new through each person in belief to see and simply love all, includes anyone that fights against us, you think, I now know this for me at least and many others also are learning and knowing this also. Being in them God's love ( 1Cor 13:4-7) and can't fight or argue anymore, knowing what was in them before getting born new by Father to them in risen Son for them
Father imputes 1 Cor 13:4-7 into those that will not quit belief to his love for them by Son to them, at least me, thank you, after a long walk off a short pier, trying t do what no other person can do, but Son that did hit once for us all to love all now.

Did I read Daniel 2? There's no need to make insulting assumptions. Yes, of course I have read it... many times.

Did Jesus establish His kingdom 2,000 years ago: yes, or no. If no, of what kingdom was He speaking in the following passages?

Matthew 4:17 From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”

Matthew 4:23 Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.

Matthew 5:20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Note the verb tense in these: present, not future:

Matthew 20:1 “For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire workers for his vineyard.

Luke 17:21 nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst.”

John 18:3 Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.”

If the kingdom has not yet been established, then Jesus was lying.

Jesus plainly taught that the kingdom of God would not appear until the time of his second coming.

Luk 19:11
And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear.
Luk 19:12
He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.
Luk 19:13
And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.
Luk 19:14
But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.
Luk 19:15
And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.

Jesus told a parable. That can hardly be described as "Jesus plainly taught".

However, that isn't what the text says. ;)

Ok, what about the horns?

Dan 7:7 “After that, in my vision at night I looked, and there before me was a fourth beast—terrifying and frightening and very powerful. It had large iron teeth; it crushed and devoured its victims and trampled underfoot whatever was left. It was different from all the former beasts, and it had ten horns.

Dan 7:8“While I was thinking about the horns, there before me was another horn, a little one, which came up among them; and three of the first horns were uprooted before it.

Rev 13:1 The dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on its horns, and on each head a blasphemous name.

  1. Rev 17:3 Then the angel carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness. There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten horns.

  2. Revelation 17:7
Then the angel said to me: “Why are you astonished? I will explain to you the mystery of the woman and of the beast she rides, which has the seven heads and ten horns.

  3. Revelation 17:12
“The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but who for one hour will receive authority as kings along with the beast.

Dont you think the toes, kings, and horns are all interconnected??

The reason why he taught it is what is important. He taught it because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear, but he informed them that he would not receive the kingdom until he returned or until his second coming.

I think this issue can be settled less confusing for those like myself that lack in study of eschatology understanding by pointing out that Jesus came the first time as a servant.
In his second coming he comes as the lion of juda, and the King of Kings Lord of Lords.

I am wondering why you even comment if you have no interest in eschatology. Bible is full of eschatology studies but I will agree it is not for you. :)

Do you not believe in the literal, physical kingdom where Christ will return as King of this physical earth for 1,000 years?

I think that equating the toes to the kings is not supported by the text.

What I believe about any future reign does not change my view on Daniel 2.

That’s not what He said in the parable.
