Happy Valentine's Day to those who check the christian chat website today and in the future searching for hope and spiritual truth!! I am thankful that Jesus says He wants to be the Valentine for every human being on this earth. He made a covenant through His blood on calvary and then rose out of the grave, showing His resurrection power to redeem and restore us. The good news of God's love and salvation. John 3:16 Romans 10: 11-13. Romans 6:23

When a person becomes aware of their sin (rebellion from God's ways), believes in the power of Jesus Christ, then calls on Jesus to take total control of their lives they start on the road of salvation. Day by day they choose to resist evil and believe in the power of God to change them. God's power will develop character in the saved person so that they show a new life with love, peace, selfcontrol, goodness, faith. They will turn away from immorality, drunkenness, selfishness, strife and other sins through the power of Jesus.

If you have the time do an internet search on Andrae Crouch's music (utube videos of his songs) and listen to the utube video with the song "Jesus is the answer" .

I like most of what you said; however, Jesus is not our "valentine," any more than God our Father is the "man upstairs." I'm curious what scripture you have in mind when you say "Jesus says He wants to be the Valentine for every human being."

My understanding of the word valentine is "a loved one". I said "Jesus is our valentine" because He loves us and wants us to love Him. He wants us to let Him be our Saviour. The New Testament: gospels Matthew Mark Luke John, the Acts of the apostles and letters of Paul tell about the love of God, the love of Jesus for everyone

Well there certainly are a LOT of contemporary Christian songs that tried to make Jesus sound like the singer's boyfriend.
