What they (Musk, Thiel, Andressen, Zuckerberg and the rest) are working towards what they see as the natural end of democracy and installing a new regime of techno authoritarianism.
The very fact that Musk has been installed at the White House (under the guise of DOGE) and putting into practice what they have been publicly announcing for years should be cause for concern.
What am I doing trying is to get you guys to wake up.

We finally have someone in charge who isn't knee deep in all the corruption of government. In fact, he has been subjected to the corruption of government. Plus, he's transactional. That is, he sees things as +1's or-1's.
Let's use an example close to your heart. What to do in Gaza? You have no answer. No one has worked out a solution. Doing things the way they have always been done isn't going to work. So Trump suggests creating a place of economic prosperity. What does everyone do? Some hate the idea outright because it came from Trump. Others denounce it because of presumed outcomes that don't align with their preferences. Others dislike it because they presume some will be neglected or lose out on something they have a right to.
All of this ignores the fact that currently there is nothing to return to. Sending people back into the region as it is guarantees great hardship for the inhabitants.
Already, because of Trump, 2,000 sick kids are receiving help. And Arab leaders have expressed interest in the area.
While your perspective is welcomed, how about a real solution from you. One that will bring real and lasting peace, and economic freedom to the area.
In Trump's first term, he helped broker peaceful relationships with Israel and many Arab nations. Peace and cooperation was breaking out all over the Middle East. The Biden regime deliberately destroyed many of these associations and fomented what we currently have.
Should we move forward with skepticism and guarded optimism? Sure. But not moving forward isn't an option. So, tell me a better idea, or you are just another alarmist.
