What they (Musk, Thiel, Andressen, Zuckerberg and the rest) are working towards what they see as the natural end of democracy and installing a new regime of techno authoritarianism.

The very fact that Musk has been installed at the White House (under the guise of DOGE) and putting into practice what they have been publicly announcing for years should be cause for concern.

What am I doing trying is to get you guys to wake up.
What you are peddling is another form of alarmist. Some come a religious perspective; yours is a secular perspective. It's a little more balanced than some here, but still predicated upon bias.

We finally have someone in charge who isn't knee deep in all the corruption of government. In fact, he has been subjected to the corruption of government. Plus, he's transactional. That is, he sees things as +1's or-1's.

Let's use an example close to your heart. What to do in Gaza? You have no answer. No one has worked out a solution. Doing things the way they have always been done isn't going to work. So Trump suggests creating a place of economic prosperity. What does everyone do? Some hate the idea outright because it came from Trump. Others denounce it because of presumed outcomes that don't align with their preferences. Others dislike it because they presume some will be neglected or lose out on something they have a right to.
All of this ignores the fact that currently there is nothing to return to. Sending people back into the region as it is guarantees great hardship for the inhabitants.
Already, because of Trump, 2,000 sick kids are receiving help. And Arab leaders have expressed interest in the area.

While your perspective is welcomed, how about a real solution from you. One that will bring real and lasting peace, and economic freedom to the area.
In Trump's first term, he helped broker peaceful relationships with Israel and many Arab nations. Peace and cooperation was breaking out all over the Middle East. The Biden regime deliberately destroyed many of these associations and fomented what we currently have.

Should we move forward with skepticism and guarded optimism? Sure. But not moving forward isn't an option. So, tell me a better idea, or you are just another alarmist.

I will go with being a realist.

There is a solution for Palestine/Israel and the West Bank, but it seems for a long while due to powerful lobbyists your country stands in the way.

Bro, you don’t live in America.
Why do you pretend to know what’s happening in American culture in day to day life?
It’d be like me saying stuff about German culture which I know very little about.

The whole Department of Grifty Edgelords (DOGE) and the way they're going about things makes it obvious they aren't being honest. If they were honest, they'd investigate and if they found proof of waste, fraud and corruption they'd present their findings to Congress. That's how it's supposed to work. But the way they're going about it makes it crystal clear that the whole "we have to freeze the funds so we can look for waste, fraud and corruption" is just a ruse. What they're really after is control.
Yeah. The guy who bought Twitter for like twice what it's worth and then lost half his ad revenue is in charge of government efficiency

The guy who could afford to do that, had other motives for it, broke it down to its efficient base, and has a base to build from into several things and multiple services if and when he so chooses. The guy who can see value as well as or likely better than any human being on the planet and is willing to work to bring it about. It's really a very basic business principle and many have made fortunes doing the same thing with small and large companies, properties, etc. they could see some unrealized value in. We're fortunate to have such people working on the value of the US. We've always needed some shrewd and experienced business minds at the helm.

Don't worry about it.
Just enjoy these liberals.

Musk had a goal to destroy the woke virus and he said - "If Twitter fails, it'd be my greatest gift to humanity".
They don't get any of these news through their filters. :giggle:

What is the price of free speech?

And why did he lose the advertising revenue? Anything to do with government pressure on advertisers?

The mere fact that he valued free expression over profit is exactly what validates the choice.

Apparently the the cost is half your ad revenue. Turns out a lot of advertisers don't appreciate their ads running next to Hitler memes And far right conspiracy theories

And the best part is when he (Elon) trolls them with changing his Display Name to Kekius Maximus and asks everyone on the platform for more "positivity".
This is a play on the liberal's insanity of "positivity" when faced with reality.:ROFL::ROFL:

Man, it's gonna be a great 4 years!

That's right. It cost him personally. In spite of that, he chose to benefit all people, and not just some.

MUH "Hitler".

This (MUH) is a liberal catchphrase when the liberals used to make fun of conservatives during the Obama and Biden administration for any conservative-related point.
They used the word "muh".
Now, they use it themselves!

Hahahah.

" Anything i don't like is Hitler".
Let's use the worst guy in modern history to make our point when we can't cope.

And DOGE hasn't even starched the surface yet.
What will you do when the government goes back to normal?
I hope you find some coping medicine.

RFK Jr is preparing a vaccine for TDS by the way.

Nope. He did it so everyone could be racist and share conspiracy theories, regardless of point of view. You seem to only want one perspective to be allowed to be shared. You don't actually believe in freedom of speech.
