The Brief
    • Approximately 1 million taxpayers were designated this tax-filing season to receive unclaimed rebate checks that date back to the pandemic.
    • Separately, Elon Musk has indicated he will discuss with Trump whether any savings in federal government spending could be refunded to taxpayers.
    • No widespread stimulus checks are pending for 2025."

I highlighted in red the part that should quiet your latest "chicken little" posting.... I'm pretty sure it won't... but it should....

Did you actually read any of those? The Fox News one was the one I got the excerpt from. We also know the reputation of Politico, Newsweek, and.... sorry... I just had to stop giggling... USA Today....

Do you just see the words "stimulus check" and go bonkers? How old are you, really?

Well he would be wrong on the conflict falling squarely on the shoulders of Putin, to bad he began very fact based.
That answers some questions.... you are getting your "facts" from some random u tube dweeb that has a whole 12,000 subscribers.... smh.

I could probably get more subscribers than that, just listing "notable quotes and musings from Rosanne Barr".....

my goodness....

I believe that the actions that Trump is taking will certainly be painful for the short term, but will benefit this country in many ways going forward.
Nobody likes to see people loose their job. However, the effects will not be felt as far as services rendered. In other words, these jobs were never needed to begin with!
So what happens when excess government spending is a thing of the past?

- Less money needed to run our government.
- Less tax burden on people of US to support government.
- Government moves closer to balanced budget
- Balanced budget results in less printing of money – dollar begins to hold value.
- Dollar holding value results in less inflation.
- Less tax inflation results in more money to spend.
- Spending more results in hiring increases. (for the right reason - supply and demand).

How long will it take for this to play-out? I do not know! But, eventually the economy will level off and we will be in much better shape!

It was not my link, I merely listened to hear him out, you know you need to listen to all sides to be fully informed and sift through the what is being stated, I know Always Trumpers, let's see, depend on Fox News, Breitbart... they are unbiased for sure and they must be right because they have a huge following!

If you want an echo chamber that is your choice.

The size of the channel means nothing as many channels are suppressed for delivering the "not so politically correct" info.

I think the saddest thing is seeing generally intelligent people support a man unequivocally, that is a big problem.

My goodness indeed... hasn't history shown us enough times the problems with that!!

btw... ad hominem means you have no argument left so one resorts to personal attacks.

The thing about it is by doing things with EO's we end up with one party writing EO's to overturn the other parties EO's from one administration to the next just like what's going on now. So if the economy and other things the people were promised don't take a big turn by 2028 the people will be unhappy and vote to oust the reigning party. Then the next administration that wins will write a whole bunch of EO's and undo the things the former administration did. There's only two ways to end this, the EO's have to turn things around before the next election or one of the two parties can never leave office again.

actually, if it's on there, it's not really being "suppressed" much, is it?
I think the saddest thing is seeing generally intelligent people support a man unequivocally, that is a big problem.
I don't know of too many people that support him unequivocally.... I certainly don't. There have been a few things that I'm not too crazy about... yet... .but I'm willing to wait to see how things play out. I realize that I don't have the same background and facts that the Pres does, and I generally trust most of his intentions, so I don't mind waiting to see....
btw... ad hominem means you have no argument left so one resorts to personal attacks.
I know what ad hominem means.... and this was not one of those situations. I'm pointing out the silliness of the Intersection that posts ad nauseum (not ad hominem) videos that have little to no basis in facts.... not really sure why you feel the need to tilt at his windmills, but.. you do you....

Yea, no one knows because the Donald is just making things up as he goes along.
Yes, Trump is moving fast and mistakes will be made. However, at least thing are moving in the right direction. That's better than doing nothing!
As a tax payer, I'm tired of my money being spent to support other countries, illegals, kickbacks, etc..... Hopefully this new department stays around to make sure that our money is spent to help the people of this country instead of the idiotic things it has been used for!
Who wouldn't want that? Oh yea, the LIBS.

On Refund checks.

We are cutting fraud and waste to reduce the deficit. Now people want to use borrowed money to give people money back. Where's the actual savings? Simply put! There ain't none. Putting that borrowed money into the economy is just as bad as Biden's borrowed money stimulus checks.

Stop the stupidity in this country. Balance the Budget.

I guess I quoted the wrong post.... I was disagreeing with the post and the "source" of the post. I thought that was clear in my statements... apologies if you thought it was directed at you. You normally seem to be pretty level headed.... unless you agree with Intersection... if you do, I will have to re-evaluate my observation...

All good.
I agree with everyone a little bit and no one on everything.
