my friend do you know how long I have prayed for my eyes to be healed? try being nearly blind for nine years all the while believing and asking for healing that is a long time to go with unanswered prayer but still even so we must believe why must we believe because his word says to
doubt has many times crossed my mind wondering if it is just pointless but something inside me says don't give up grasp your miracle
be encouraged and stay strong your not alone trust me

Do you know about Paul’s “thorn in the flesh”?2 Corinthians 12:7-10 - “And lest I should be exalted above measure,..a thorn in the flesh was given to me. Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord 3 times that it might depart from me and he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore, I will most gladly boast in my infirmities that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in my infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecution’s, in distresses for Christ sake; for when I am weak, I am strong.”

Many believe Paul’s “thorn in the fresh was something wrong with his eyes because of what he says in Galations 4:15 Paul said “…if possible you would have plucked out your own eyes and given them to me.”

I hope this is an encouragement to you. Maybe God is telling you, as He did Paul, “my grace is sufficient for you.” If so, He must have great confidence in you. That is a compliment to you.

Remember Ezekiel 14: God does nothing without purpose. Trust Him.

Seek and you find knock and the door will be answered these are analogies of persistance not because he didnt hear you but he sometimes requires diligence
That is dependant on interpretation because a person can continually knock while at the same time never actually submitting themselves to what they're asking.

You said a person should pray with all of their might until it pesters God enough to give in. The question is give in to what when He already did everything through Christ. What else could you be asking or pestering about and what do you think is going to come out of it?.

Many people put great emphasis on praying at God while few choose to submit themselves to what He actually says and believes. Parroting scripture and saying all of the right things sounds good on paper but it still doesn't put a person in faith.

I’ve been struggling with doubts and was very tempted to walk away from the Lord. It has to do with prayers going unanswered. I’m starting to feel like it’s all in vain because He’s not answering.

Heavenly father,

I lift up my friend to You right now. You see their heart, their struggles, and the weight of their unanswered prayers. Lord, I know how discouraging it can be to seek You and feel like there’s no response. I ask that You meet them in this place of doubt, not with force or pressure, but with Your presence and peace.

Remind them, Lord, that even when You seem silent, You are still near. Even when answers don’t come in the way we expect, You are still working. Strengthen their faith in this season of uncertainty, not by making everything instantly clear, but by showing them that You are still holding them, even in the questions.

Jesus, You yourself cried out, "My God, my God, why have You forsaken me?" You understand what it feels like to feel unheard. Let that be a comfort to them, knowing that they are not alone in their struggle. Surround them with people who will encourage them, walk with them, and remind them that faith isn’t about always having the answers, it’s about trusting that You are still good, even in the waiting.

Give them the strength to keep seeking, Lord. And if they feel like they can’t, hold onto them when they can’t hold onto You.

In Jesus name,
Amen.

All I can offer is my prayer and ear, I will support you friend.

Are you praying for things you know God want you to have?

What kind of job? And which scripture/s are you leaning on as proof that God wants you to have that kind of a job?
Any job. I’m not leaning on any particular scripture but I do know He expects is to work. He who doesn’t work doesn’t eat.

That's part of your problem. You are not standing on a scripture by faith.

What opportunities to work, whether paid or unpaid have you had, that you put your hand to and did? Have you turned down any opportunities to work that were available and did nothing instead, waiting for paid work?

reasons God hasn't answered prayers yet are:
1. unbelief
2. abuse of the answer
3. it's not time yet
4. He's going to give you more
5. you are being given a chance to wait patiently
6. someone is still involved in sin
all Christians have to wait. in fact when you are on God's side, you usually have to wait for the answer. Psalm 27:14, Lamentations 3:22-25.

I’ve been putting applications and I’ve done five interviews in the last month including today. So I’ve been looking.

1. God will provide for you in whatever work you do with faith in Him, whether man pays you or God rewards you, whether you work for free or for whatever wage. So, if you see an opportunity to serve someone, ask God if you should take it.

2. Check out a book called "What Color Is Your Parachute" . I will help you find the right job for you and togain a position where you can be paid for doing it.

I have been working for ten years without being paid, and enjoying it immensely, but God has provided all my needs.
