It just seems very hypocritical that anyone who supported Biden taking tax payer money to pay off some kids college loan is now opposed to money recovered from fraud being returned to tax payers as a rebate.

The issue I had with the left was they were willing to ignore the concerns of those on the right concerning many issues but election fraud being one prominent example. They didn't care that they were censored, fired, and scapegoated.

So if the 5000 goes to Texas and their suppose to give it to their citizens we probably wont get it just like the Covid money. If you want to hear something really funny about our government look at this. Our government made over 416 million payments of Covid stimulus totaling 814 billion dollars. There are many provisions in the pact for changing the "financial architecture" a vague term they use to refer to a one world digital currency. They also have provisions for developing a framework for measuring progress that is not GDP. Again, their vague language to having a social credit score. Finally it has provisions for strengthening a UN response to a "global shock" an intentionally vague term that can really refer to anything but means that in the event of some global event the UN is in charge. Depends on the "shock". It could be a pandemic and the WHO is in charge. It could be financial and so they move from US dollars to a one world digital currency. It could be people refusing to be vaccinated and so they implement the social credit score. All these provisions have been adopted with the most broad language possible.

Supposedly they are cutting 4.9 trillion in fraudulent and wasteful spending.

4.9-1.7 = 3.2 trillion. So the 1.7 trillion is not increasing the debt, it is decreasing the debt, not by 4.9 trillion but by 3.2 trillion. The reason they are doing this is simple. They are laying off and firing a lot of people. All of that money was going to be spent one way or another. That would create large groups of people protesting the cuts. So if you give everyone $5,000 they are not going to listen to the "few complainers".
