This is what made the View so offensive. If they had simply been five foolish women cackling about their opinions no one would have cared much less watched. But the assertion that somehow they knew the facts of the case and were reporting them to you, that is why people watched. They had to make claims in order for anyone to watch, but by making phony claims they opened themselves up to libel.

This is the way many people have felt for years as they watch these people on the TV lie and try to create all kinds of grievance. They raise up strife and contention, encouraging violence and spoiling of the nation. It seemed like judgment never went forth. It seemed we were surrounded by the wicked and that is why the judges would never judge right.

How long? It is amazing how thick some of these people on the TV are, they are so stupid and yet people actually listened to them.

Yep, this word is being fulfilled. Suddenly they rise up with lawsuits, suddenly you wake up and Donald Trump is President, Elon Musk is DOGE and Kash Patel is running the FBI.

That is the promise the Lord has given us, they will be spoiled. Not just the women on the View, but MSNBC and CNN and deceitful workers in the government.

The person filing suit (claiming defamation) has the burden of proof, so they'd have to prove the "false statements" are indeed false.

- This is why you often hear "the best defense against defamation is the truth."
- It's because you can't lose a defamation suit if the thing you said is actually true.
- But you can still be sued, and that's expensive... so the mere threat of litigation is enough to prevent most people from exposing the wrongdoing of the rich and powerful.
(This is one of the ways the Church Of Scientology used to keep everyone from exposing them. They'd sue everyone who said anything negative, and they'd drag out the suits into huge cases in order to bankrupt the other party through their own legals fees. Pretty dirty stuff.)

Idk... people watched stuff like Ellen and Rosie O'Donnel, and Oprah. Maybe I'm being overly logical- but with a name like "the View" I would expect the show to be about "the view" (being synonymous with "opinion") of the show-hosts. I definitely wouldn't contest the fact that the show was offensive- Like I could see conservative unbelievers having to watch an hour of the View every day in hell; but I guess I'd have to actually watch the show in order to really get a grasp of what they were doing; which I can't see subjecting myself or anyone else to such horrors.

Joyless Behar is a Jewess who clearly holds open animus for Christians. It's a mental illness.

Ms.Goldberg was suspended for two weeks and then issued a vacant apology for her comments on the Holocaust.
However,when in the UK she actually doubled down on her prior remarks she'd apologized for so to keep her job.

It had to be something in her contract that precluded termination.

Her remarks occurred on the anniversary day of the Holocaust,the air date of the show it so happened, as she insisted the Holocaust wasn't about the Jews!

She's even halted the show so as to scold an audience member for something she takes offense to.

I know this not because I was a fan of the show. It is because that show would make news for the controversy it generated on a regular basis.

Turns out it is a rumor the show won't be renewed for 2025. Maybe the rumor started because of ABC's decision not to renew Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar's contracts.
