I can’t think straight anymore. I have sinned so many times in the last 4-5 months with a recent girlfriend, that I went from being blessed, to the opposite of blessed.

After over ten years of following Christ, I gave all of it away for western romantic
Christianity.

I don’t know why God hasn’t destroyed me yet. I’m definitely due for God’s wrath, God’s judgement upon me.

Jesus tells us, of all whom the Father gives him he shall lose none.

You are forgiven your sins. Now,being you are the only one, besides God,who knows the details of those, I think you have to forgive yourself.

God knows everything about you. And you are still loved.

Pour out your confession to him. Not to let him know what you e done. But to release the weight of the guilt from your heart.
Write it out if you want. Cry out aloud in the privacy of your own home.

Whatever it takes to let out this weight you feel on you that leads you to think God has foredaken.

I'll pray for you that you put God back to being first in your life before it's too late. I know it can be tough to let go of sin, but I know God wants you to succeed in overcoming this. Submit to God and He will help you to do just that!

Psa 51:1
[[To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba.]] Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
Psa 51:2
Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
Psa 51:3
For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.

Hi, ATSTD.

David penned this psalm after he had committed sexual sin with Bathsheba. He knew that God's mercy was the only possible cure, and the same is true with you in your present situation. If you ask God to, then he will wash you thoroughly from your iniquity, and he will cleanse you from your sin, and here is the means by which he will do so.

Psa 51:7
Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Why did David ask God to purge him with hyssop?

Because hyssop was the means by which the blood of the Passover lamb was applied.

Exo 12:22
And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.

As Christians, we have been called unto obedience and the sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ.

1Pe 1:2
Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

None of us are perfect, and God has provided a means of cleansing for the times when we mess up. Should you avail yourself of the cleansing blood of Jesus, then this will be the outcome.

Psa 51:8
Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
Psa 51:9
Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
Psa 51:10
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Psa 51:11
Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
Psa 51:12
Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
Psa 51:13
Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.

You need to stop beating yourself up. The only means of forgiveness is the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ, and any other means of attempted forgiveness is a subtle form of pride.

Psa 51:16
For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.
Psa 51:17
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

The type of sacrifice that God is looking for from you is a broken spirit and a contrite heart, and you have already shown evidence of the same. Now, you need to ask God to wash away your sins by the blood of the sacrificial Lamb of God, and he will do just that.

1Jo 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

When God cleanses you from all unrighteousness, you are cleansed from ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS.

Will you take God at his word?

I hope that you will. If you ever want to talk, then we can do so either publicly or privately.

You are in my prayers.

You posted at 10PM to a site that's predominantly American. The site slows down at night.
But any time of day it can take hours to get a response, sometimes.
This is a forum and not live, after all. So perhaps you're just being impatient.

God does not need to destroy us. We do an excellent job of that ourselves. God's mercy and grace override His judgement. One day, that will change and judgement will come.

Recognising your sin is a good start. Repenting needs to follow. Never underestimate God's love. The story of the prodigal son is more about the love of the father than the sin of the son. Come on home. God is waiting for you with open arms, not with a rod to beat you but a feast to celebrate your return. Hopefully you will have learned your lesson.

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." ! John 1:9

Carrot, egg, or coffee?
When people come under pressure, heat, and are under water they react in various ways to their environment.

A carrot becomes soft and mushy...and Food....they will eat you.

An egg becomes hard, rubbery, stinky and will not join with others....and Food that others will eat.

Coffee is a bit different.
It's already been roasted and washed.
When it gets into that hot water it changes its environment....the water itself becomes drinkable. The coffee remains unconsumed and unchanged. But everyone calls the water coffee and drinks that.

Be like coffee.

They may have departed our site due to their disappointment in lack of timely responses.
During my time here, I have seen a lot of people come and go, and the ones who seem to disappear the quickest are new members and those who post prayer requests. I am not seeking to place the blame for that on any of us here, but it would help if we periodically check out those sections of the forum to either greet people as early as possible or to let them know that we are praying for them. When someone's spirit and soul are heavily burdened, a minute can seem like an eternity. I know because I have been there myself many times in the past.

At the same time, I do wonder why some people even post here at all. I have personally reached out to dozens of people here, either publicly, or privately, or both, and none of them seemed the least bit interested in my sincere offers to help them. Who knows? Maybe people just have unfavorable opinions of me, and not of others, but I still reach out to people just the same.

Thank you KTR.

I felt some weight creeping in my mind. Just had a therapy session. Got to talk it out with my Christian therapist.

All good. Not sad at all, just processing the break up. God didn’t want me in that relationship and I did learn what I will require in the next relationship.

I did take Monday off to do my coping mechanisms, such as listen to worship and listen to pray.com.

And yesterday, Tuesday, just worked most of the day and listened to all of Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Songs of Solomon and maybe a book of a prophet or two.

Went from having one YouTube profile to now my YouTube profile description is translated to their top two languages and in English in 83 different countries. Still working on it today.

Took an hour break to listen to worship and eventually check Christian Chat and write this.

That is your best bet. Just saturate your spirit and soul with God's word. I just finished listening to the book of Job on audio about a week ago, and I am presently going through the book of Psalms myself.

Anyhow, thanks for commenting and for letting me (us) know how you are doing. I am here if you ever need a listening ear or somebody to pray for you.
