she has been hurt a lot by several people some of them were so bad I had to step in luckily some of them got banned but yes magenta has a beautiful soul and a very strong yet sensative heart
She has the poet/artist/creative heart Blain and i love her too. Sadly, misunderstandings can easily arise and be difficult to sort out in this format, so hope it getting a mention in this post will lead to a happy resolution. Really think it's a misunderstanding sort of thing, they're good people.

See the same friend, she really feels hurt. Thing is it's much easier for misunderstandings to occur through text, much harder to sort them out too.
You just don't get the immediate impressions/feedback available through physical discussion. if i'm unsure about something said in text chat, i ask for more information, it's so sad if troubling misunderstandings fester.
I don't want to make any assumptions about the reason for the friction between them, but your observation is relevant. I'm well aware of how my own writing style can rub some people up the wrong way.

Well I cannot speak on her troubles with @GWH but the issue with the other people is one of those types of people who do not listen to what is being said because they have no intention of listening she speaks plain english and yet people don't listen. the people that attacked her I do not think ever intended to do anything but cause strife.
But yes she is a very creative person she and I have had fun making pictures and posting them she and I both are poets and we both are very artsie plus we are both empaths so she and I have been friends for a long time

Copied your testimony, what i've read so far is beyond distressing but certain the Lord has your back. You're a truly lovely person, not just a survivor, love and hugs from me for now, see you soon.

I don't see there where it says that the Holy Spirit's only function in the believer is to be a stamp demarcating that this one is guaranteed an inheritance. Seals do more than just mark ownership. They often also prevent intrusion by unauthorised persons or unwanted things. A sealed tomb, a sealed jar. a sealed letter.

Also, arrabon does not mean a deposit guaranteeing, but a down-payment, and earnest, indicating one's sincere intention to take full possession of something at a later date. When I put a deposit on a house, I am confirming my genuine desire to own the house. However, not all house deals go through, and often it is not the intended buyers fault when it fails.
It names one of the Spirit's functions?
And, you think I meant the Spirit only has one function?

And, when God signs on the dotted line?
He is not a man.
Stop the comparison!

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you,
whom you have received from God?
You are not your own; you were bought at a price.

You are two of the people i really like and respect on this forum GWH, and doh! I keep saying crossed lines when i think the problem is probably crossed wires. So hope lines haven't actually been crossed yet and won't be, misunderstandings are so easy through text.
Especially if people lose focus on that fact and do not strive not to let it happen.
I guess I crossed a line with Magenta, but I am confident that she misunderstood me.

No. Spirit, soul/mind/emotions and body/feelings/instinct.
Sorry but that is not any clearer. Is that, we are made of seven seven parts or spirit, soul (comprising mind and emotions) and body (comprising feelings and instinct)? Assuming by feelings you mean the 5 senses?

No problem. Why do you think the mind is spirit? Personally, I would consider the mind as part of the soul. And the heart as our internal invisible aspects, comprised of soul and spirit. Our spirit, I would say, is what gives us life and existence as a being, so our egoic identity and our consciousness. At regeneration we receive a new identity and consciousness. Our mind is the vehicle through which our spirit and body interact. Ideally, our spirit should rule our over body. However, the carnally-minded are allowing their body, feelings and instincts to rule over their identity and consciousness.
I don't think the mind is spirit. You seemed to be saying that which is why I sought clarification. I'm struggling to comprehend your understanding because the scriptures clearly state the Holy Spirit gives birth to our spirit (not inherited from our parents) and that it is necessary in order to comprehend spiritual matters. That being the case, how is it, that which comes directly from God the Spirit can be corrupted in the first place if it is not the second time around?

Also if spirit is the essence of our being, why are we never called spirits but always called souls? If our spirit is the essence of our being why are we said to be dead in our sin (without the new birth)? Our bodies aren't dead and our minds are still capable of thought which, you attribute to the soul, so what is left to be dead?

I think you have stated this but please refresh my memory, you do believe we have a corruption in our flesh, a sin nature, yes?

With human babies their status changes from a fetus to a newborn. They weren't dead prior to being born.
What has that got to do with spiritual birth? You have to be born from above to be spiritually alive. It's a new birth, distinct from our physical birth and biological life.

John 3:6
That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

I believe... to get to know God, one must not try to find a way of escaping the necessary suffering for righteousness’s sake that must come in order to do so. God must deliver us into the Truth needed to make us free. It must be sound doctrine to work.

As a result, many suffer on the 'broad and wide road' that Jesus warned about. Remain suffering because of their own idea as to finding happiness outside of discovering what God has it to be for each one of us.

For the flesh desires against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh.
For these are opposed to one another in order that you should not do
those things you might wish.
Galatians 5:17

Those who are given much will be required much suffering to achieve God's will in their life.
But, it does not stay that way forever. For God enters one into His stored blessings He has intended for us.
But, only can be imparted after grace and sound doctrine has done its work first.

There are no shortcuts.
It must be SOUND DOCTRINE, which is rarely taught these days. Taught from God- established pulpits.

Many will refuse what is best for them and needed for entering in God's happiness.

Instead.....

For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine.
Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great
number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.
2 Tim 4:3

Some get buried under a bed of TULIP, never able to smell the roses.

GWH is a lovely courteous guy Kainos but there are a few here who enjoy winding people up. Genez and sawdust have been spiteful to quite a few people on this post, that isn't what i created it for.
Please show me where I have been spiteful. You on the other hand have been downright insulting toward me from the get go.

With human babies their status changes from a fetus to a newborn. They weren't dead prior to being born.
All babies are born physically alive.
Body and soul.

They are not born, body, soul, and human spirit.
That would make them spiritually alive.

Only Adam and the woman before the fall were body, soul, and human spirit.

After they ate the forbidden fruit?
They became as babies are now born.
They became body and soul.

And the Lord God commanded the man, saying,
“Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat;
but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil
you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it
you shall surely die.”

They ate.
And, they died.

Died... 'spiritually!'

For they were still running around physically after they ate!

Agreed. And in the Hebrew there are 2 deaths in this verse....."Dying, you shall die."

Spiritual death instantly, physical death in the future.

Asking for quotes when being accused is helpful, but giving quotes when making accusations is needed in order not to be hypocritical.

She can ask just as I did but I won't waste my time digging through posts for someone who thinks their subjective opinion is all that is needed to establish truth.
