Ok this made me laugh real hard.
Thank you!
My pleasure.

You should try it sometime ... first step is removing the rose colored glasses probably stuck with Super Glue.

Sorry, no male picture, but obviously they exist behind many keyboards!

Most sheeple cannot endure the transformative pain of living in reality, sadly.

Well, it has been a slice but I need to get some work done. :)

Karoline Leavitt says press having hard time with Trump team 'genuinely having so much fun'

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Wednesday during an interview that the press was having a hard time with the Trump administration "genuinely having so much fun."

"I think that's something the press are having a hard time with. We are genuinely having so much fun, and this is why you're seeing them obsess over Elon Musk and President Trump, and they're trying so hard but failing to drive a wedge in that relationship, because they love those sensational stories of trying to pin people against each other."

I’m not going to be the one claiming that I’m the only one being right, nor will I venture directly into meddling with the exchange of arguments between @HeIsHere and @Eli1, but, eli, I find it, shall I say, awkward, to read your black and white presentations of America versus the old world.

For those of us who are born and raised here it will not enhance our economic situation when Trump trades and tariffs wars begin. Quite the contrary. Oh, I’m sure the diehard fans will be cheering on him, but only until they find themselves paying $15 a gallon for gas, interest steadily increases, stagflation and the mighty dollar in the gutter.

And to really rub it in he’ll be accepting the metric system because gas will look cheaper charged by the liter.

Well listen, why don't you want to share with us your experience as a natural born and raised American in the Cajun culture speaking French as your first language?
I would love to hear it. So far to me you're speaking with the least amount of bias when it comes to the current situation we find ourselves in.

As far as tariffs go this is a bit of a game of poker. How much do the other countries want to bleed money without accepting defeat?
And how much does the population in USA will put up with higher prices?

Es-tu sûr…?😂
Absolutely! :D
So far i've told you where i'm from, how long i've been in US and my ideas on politics,.
The politics part may need more explanation since i've said these things to others not to you and you may be confusing me for someone who mixes politics with faith.
But yeah, if what you've experienced while growing up is different from what we're saying and it's not black and white then yeah i'd like to hear it.

All right, all right.

First of all I have a confession to make. I was not born in Texas but in Louisiana in 1976. May not be a shock lol.

I grew up in a household where no one was speaking English at home. Oh sure, they were able to utter a few words in English outside of the house, but their language skills were poor, at best.

Needless to say I didn’t speak English until I was six or seven. School was pretty much ruined by my lack of understanding English. One thing is to understand and speak the language. Quite another thing is reading and writing. Some teachers beat the English language into me.

We were discriminated against for being catholic, poor, language wise, yeah every stereotype the majority knew about was thrown at us.

I’m a widow, a mother and a grandmother.

I learned to fend for myself and not let the authorities make me get dependent on them. I can easily make a living deep down in the swamplands if need be.

That Hank Williams jr. song, ‘A Country Boy Can Survive’ pretty much sums it up well.

Thank you for sharing that, I appreciate it.
I have known most of what you’ve said based on our discussions here and you mentioning these details about yourself.
I am also cursed with having photographic memory. lol
I didn't know about you being Catholic though and you also mentioned that a few days ago. I thought you were Protestant.

You embody a lot of the fierce individualist and proud spirit that’s common in many Americans when it comes to doing things themselves.

This is the part that I’m mentioning in regards to culture.
Where I come from, we do things on a family-basis.
Meaning that if we are in trouble or need help we ask the extended family first and the family helps us, with a job, with money or anything literally.
This is how it works where I come from.
Of course these ideas have been ruined a bit with the new generation but the culture is still there , hard and ingrained that family comes first. This whole family thing is as deep as many American traditions basically which includes hot dog and apple pie.
People are also not shy or too proud to get government help too because they see the government as a place where they are supposed to help people in need and in US this may be viewed as a “shameful” thing where you’re supposed to do everyone on you own and alone without anyone’s help.

Thanks again for sharing and God bless you and protect you out there!

Curious why keep splitting, only to come back a couple months later?

Must be 4 or 5 times now. And why not just say you are Susanna, that’s been here for years?

https://thehill.com/policy/international/5168016-bret-baier-volodymyr-zelensky-interview/

Trump will meet with Ukraine's leader Zelensky today. It is expected that Zelensky will finally see the light of reason and sign a mineral deal with the USA in order to repay the staggering amount of money that has been given to Ukraine. On the wider issue of the Ukraine war and the rare but still fragile chance for peace, this will be a big move. Since the most friction in the peace talks has come from Ukraine this is being interpretted as a sign of Zelensky willing to finally come to the table. Trump walks back his comments on Zelensky being a dictator though of course we still would like to see elections in Ukraine as it is not a very good look for America to be supporting the guy that cancelled elections. Nevertheless this is a good W for the foreign policy world both for one because now we have some sort of agreement to start getting repaid for all the aid we gave to Ukraine and for two it advances the possibility of peace via diplomacy in this war. Though emotions run high on this war from all sides, remember before there was no real end in sight there was no real chance of even having talks, now there is talks and now there is a chance to end this by diplomacy, though we still have to get there, this is a positive development in advancing the chance of peace to happen since now you have both belligerents in the war essentially playing ball, coming to the same peace broker which is Donald Trump. Let us remember to praise Jesus for one for the deal that we be not ripped off, and for two for the advancement of peace and hope that the peace talks may prevail to praise Jesus, the prince of peace, even more.

So really this war in Ukraine has been the US and Russia fighting over Ukraine's mineral assets which I think is code for the gold the Kazarian mafia has stashed away from human trafficking.

No, that is obviously not the case or else the war just end here. The mineral deals though do help advance the potential for peace via diplomacy namely in alleviating concerns about the repayment of US aid and secondly to pull the major parties to the table and continue to make them open to further negotiations. Welome to big boy politics. It's not a deal that will ensure the peace talks will ultimately prevail, but it does advance this plotline in that positive direction. We are looking forward here to the meeting between Trump and Putin which will really be the bigger play that will reveal more. Peace is not yet ensured, and there can always just be more war should the peace talks fail, but it's a unique opportunity, diplomacy at this level is rare, so let's just see where it goes, it's worth an attempt, praise Jesus.

LOL, you are an optimist. I on the other hand would say "the war goes nuclear here", the mineral deal fulfills the Lord's word that "they will say peace and security followed by sudden destruction". What you call "big boy" politics I simply call two Mafiosos fighting over who will get more heat in hell.
