On the first page someone posted the entire meeting but it's really interesting to put some ear plugs in and watch Z's and Trumps facial expressions and head reactions to what each other is saying. Z shakes his head no multiple times and Trump wrinkles his eyebrows at Z's responses and changes the subject. It was a really bad amateur mistake to take a leader and sit him in a televised negotiation without discussing the plan with him first and Z lets the cat out of the bag to the Russians.
Or, it was an unedited live debate.
Transparency in our elected leadership. Just what we voted for. :)

God bless America and our President Trump and VP Vance.

Or both? WW3 and then peace. Perhaps after the warmongers receive some warning shots into their own back yards (rather than at the troops being sent to Russia).

WW3 or peace?

Good question.

Kissinger told us "USA does not heave friends it has interests."

I think as long as the USA can secure its interests, regain its stature and respect as a great power a world war may be averted.
It appears that Ukraine is now the proxy for conflict between the USA and Europe.
A shift in alliances overnight it seems, really something to watch unfold.

No really start at about the 19 minute part of the video and watch Z face response at what Trump answers about sending arms and security to Ukraine. Trump say's yes he was but not much and z looks shocked about not needing much. Then about the 21 minute mark Trump says he was speaking to France the other day and He(Trump) doesn't think they were going to need a lot of security. Z looks extremely let down and begins shaking his head no at what Trump is saying so it was the first he had heard of it.
Well then Zelensky is not very smart, his hubris and past conditioning courtesy of the USA, most likely interfered with his inability to come to terms with reality.

Zelensky was asked BEFORE the meeting to please wear a suit to the Oval Office.
So right off the bat that disrespect set the tone.
Your assuming he brought one with him, OR, that he even owns one, right? :) IMO, culture clash played a part in all of this. He has always dressed pretty much the same. As "one of the people." When Obama was President, numerous Foreign Dignitaries visited without wearing a suit. Never heard anyone criticizing them. Republicans or Democrats.

I always considered the White House to be the "House of the PEOPLE," NOT the House of proper dress code. Shoot, one of our Presidents even placed a huge wheel of cheese in the foyer of the White House and invited the PEOPLE in to have a snack. Dress Code not imposed.

Pomp and Circumstance has a time and a place for sure, but I'm not sure that kind of meeting requires it for all Parties to be "civil" and act like adults. Given Trumps actions throughout his public life, not wearing a suit seems hardly worthy of the wrath of Trump and the Junior High Student sitting next to him.

BTW: There is a good chance that the European Nations will benefit from all of this, as they will receive the Contract for the Rare Earth Metals Trump so desperately wanted. Hmm....

Or both? WW3 and then peace. Perhaps after the warmongers receive some warning shots into their own back yards (rather than at the troops being sent to Russia).

Which is the pickle the West is in at the moment. In Russia Dimtry Peskov the press spokesman for Putin,Kremlin said that We(Kremlin) see that a fragmentation of the collective west has begun. Then that there is still a group of countries that constitutes the party of war that still declares it's readiness to back Ukraine(loosely quoting Peskov from article). He then said that they would continue the dialog with Washington (and) continue their Special Military Operation in Ukraine. Where the pickle is though is in what is said of Putin about the humiliation after the fall of the Berlin wall in 1989. So those nations Putin sees as still being under Russia's influence after 1989 would be those who joined NATO after 1989's agreement with the former USSR which is that they would not spread out into the East. These nations are Poland,Finland,Romania,Hungary ect. https://www.reuters.com/world/europ...make-peace-after-clash-with-trump-2025-03-03/

(copied from article)
The West and Ukraine describe Russia's 2022 invasion as an imperial-style land grab.
Putin casts the conflict as part of an existential battle with a declining and decadent West which he says humiliated Russia after the Berlin Wall fell in 1989 by enlarging the NATO military alliance and encroaching on what he considers Moscow's sphere of influence, including Ukraine.

The guy has absconded with over 240 Billion of our tax dollars. He could have picked one up in a thrift store for $50, or bought the most expensive Armani ever made.

He also MET with a cadre of Democrat congressmen and Senators THE NIGHT BEFORE, who instructed him what to say, and how to disrupt things.

As "one of the people.
Like this guy? Who slept in his camos?

Please name one that wasn't a she/her/Mrs/Maam/XX that came to the Oval Office. I couldn't find nary a one.

not wearing a suit seems hardly worthy of the wrath of Trump
There was a LOT more going on than just disrespecting the request.

Zelensky REFUSES to hold elections. HIS TERM HAS ENDED MANY MONTHS AGO. He KNOWS he'd lose. His people hate him, and almost a million of them have been killed.
He claims he can't hold elections while the country is at war.

Tell me. What incentive does he have to ever end the war if he doesn't have to have an election while the war persists, continues to receive billions of dollars so that more young boys and old men are conscripted to die?

Hey!!

I found one. Although this is technically very dress up for the Saudis. Pretty sure military camos don't qualify for decent attire, exept for military despots:
