Personally, I feel that the acronym TULIP has great disadvantages, particularly the "L". "Limited Atonement" always gives the impression of fewness. I prefer the term "Particular Redemption."
But then, we would be arguing about TUPIP, and I would think you were talking about TupperWare. ;) This comes from a person that loves The Canons of Dort!

The Father and Holy Spirit had faith in the Son to achieve a sinless lifetime. The Son and Father have faith in the Holy Spirit to empower and enlighten the church until Jesus returns. The Holy Spirit has faith in the Father to administer the kingdom and in the Son to reign righteously upon the earth in the coming millennium.
Ergo...God believed in Himself. :coffee:

Since faith the size of a mustard seed is sufficient to move a mountain, it seems a stretch for some to claim that the ability to believe we are born with as not adequate for putting faith in Christ.
Wasn't discouraging faith in God's word the serpent's mo from the beginning?

Doesn't change anything. Grace is supernatural regardless of the means.
The activity of the Holy Spirit in a person's life is now not considered supernatural?
Weird. But totally not surprising given who says such a thing.

Romans 8:7a, Galatians 5:17, John 1:5, John 14:17 ~ The mind of the flesh is hostile to God: It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. The flesh craves what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. Darkness does not comprehend the Light. The world cannot receive the Spirit of Truth, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him.

And what is your evidence that "God doesn't require us to use of the ability to believe He gave us to use, and we used as children" ?

That's why we believe after being drawn to Him. ABILITY to believe has been restored to some degree!
I'm not following. How is your belief after being drawn to Him "evidence that God doesn't require us to use of the ability to believe He gave us to use, and we used as children" ? Or how is your belief after being drawn to Him "evidence that God has to some degree restored your ABILITY to believe" ?

It's in/by means of grace ("chariti": dative case). Everything occurs in/by means of God's grace. The believing of a hindu child is in God's grace and by means of God's grace. Not everything that happens in grace, by means of grace, is God's will.

Sorry!
But I do not believe that fallen man has the ability to please God until a supernatural work has been performed in us.

Many are those here who believe the corrupt heart of the natural man can bring forth good fruit
even though Jesus said it was not possible. According to them, the lover of darkness, who can neither
receive nor comprehend the spiritual things of God while a slave to sin and suppressing the truth
in unrighteousness, makes a decision to believe that which is foolishness to them. Ta da! They are saved.
