Please pray for our brothers and sisters in Australia.
They are having elections tomorrow and need God's intervention.
They have been conquered politically with medical tyranny and disarmed their enemies, the Aussie people.
Please pray that the Lord will restore the rights He has provided.

The following is an appeal from an Australian who still values liberty.

Meanwhile, a 17 year old got on a commercial plane with a loaded shotgun. What could possibly be wrong with that. Every psycho teenager should have a gun. Then we, too, could have mass school shootings just like America. And we may become famous as the land of aircraft as well as car hijacking. I can hardly wait.

If you want to know how much I care about state elections (Australia is not going to elections), I did not know until I read your comment.

Are you saying that there are no laws against 17 year olds on commercial flights with shotguns because it's just too free?

God did not give us the right to own guns. Many people own guns, but getting a licence is strictly controlled. Hand guns are only allowed for law enforcement or licenced security personnel. About 1.5 million Aussies own at least one gun. That's about half the rate of America.

Knife crime is a problem. But nowhere near the scale of gun crime in America.

I do not advocate for no private gun ownership. I do believe that military style semi automatic rifles should not be in the hands of civilians. Australia outlawed those in 1996. We've not had a mass shooting since.

Gun use in crimes here in America are mostly in areas where the average American is forbidden by their criminals in gt from owning it carrying them. The US capital Washington DC has been named the murder capital many years. Sometimes that honor is earned by other cities competing for that title. When criminals in gt forbid God's people from the means of self defense, they aid and abet those who commit other crimes against them.

The night before last Alex Jones most prolific writer was shot to death outside his apartment.
The following day another of his top employees was threatened with death as a large group of paramilitary police were summoned to his house. Someone tried to kill him too by using the military police.

This morning I woke up way too early and tried to get back to sleep by counting sheep like some people?
No, I counted how many times I was criminally threatened or shot at by murderers with firearms and one had a bow. It was 7 times that I recall.

Then I remembered 8 times dogs attacked me, but not all bit me. (That doesn't count the protection rottweilers I trained for millionaires. I trained them and my own Belgian Malinois mix to attack on command.) In addition was a black bear charge. There were other large/ toothy wildlife that sunk their teeth into me when I used to raise them for work.

There's a reason Jesus told us to buy a weapon commonly used by Roman soldiers.

Most Aussies are not criminals.

I appreciate that. We definitely need the Lord and pray for Canadian neighbors too. The election was held in Western Australia this time . 🙂

And a reason why Jesus told Peter to put it away and healed the servant. What good did the sword do Jesus?

There are gun deaths in Australia. Mostly it is criminals killing other criminals or men killing their wives. What we do not have is schoolkids going to school wondering if they will get home safely.

Sure, if your job involves risk from wildlife or crooks, self defence is legit. I'm not advocating no guns. It would never fly anyway. I believe in sensible controls. You know, ensuring that psycho drug addicts and such cannot legally own a gun. Too many women in Australia have died at the hands of their husbands or exes. What is the answer? Arm the women?

Not sure. More places need to be like Oklahoma from what I’ve learned in the past 6 months.
