Well it seems that bonehead Zelensky might have ended all chance for peace. After Zelensky's shameful behavior and insult to America and being cut off and his treacherous and deceitful manners in the aftermath, and after seeing Europe flock together like a band of corrupt fools that they are to Ukraine's defense half-heartedly with only 3 billion (as opposed to the 500 billion that US offered), well now Ukraine looks very weak. The worst imagined possibility indeed has come true and the Russians have recently rejected any idea of a ceasefire, they believe now that they can solidly win the whole war.
Trump now threatens to destroy the Russian economy and throw insurmountable tariffs on them, which should Trump follow through with this, which he hinted at at the start of his presidency, the entire Russian economy will be expected to collapse in basically 1 year by the most conservative estimates or frankly a matter of months in the more moderate views. Still we haven't crossed the point of no return yet, but frankly both Ukraine and Russia are savages, they're foreigners and they're savages, they will escalate then the war between both of them. There is still a slim chance to broker a peace, but at this point it is apparent both sides being Ukraine and Russia alike are equally abhorrent and equally unwilling to stop the war. Trump wants peace, but both Zelensky and Putin are insane and corrupt barbarian dictators, the will and hatred for them to kill eachother is strong.
It is not a case of "peace, peace they cry and then sudden destruction." It's more a case of Psalm 120. May Lord Jesus forgive these fools for forsaking a great beautiful blessing, a very easy chance for peace that was brought to them on a silver platte, but for their hatred and evil hearts against God, against America, against Trump, and against man they said no, they want war. Ever trying to subvert they only ever really subvert themselves. May the Lord Jesus be praised then as it is given to them and they destroy eachother some more, and may we not be consumed by the war they want to unleash, yea stand far back from the calamity of the fools. Praise Jesus and may he strengthen Trump in his effort to still try to salvage a peace talks plan, though it looks very unlikely now at this point, but it is still worth trying if it can be salvaged, praise Jesus even for giving them the chance so that at the least they will have no excuses before the throne of God.

2 Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.
3 What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue?

5 Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!
6 My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.
7 I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.

There's always that thing that people never mention when arguing how many peacekeeping troops they may need or when they say it is going to be ww3 if there's no peace deal but the part no one has mentioned was that Ukraine began in 2022 with an army that at least held off Russia. Then at several points in the war they were really strapped for troops and so they did just that over time and built up their numbers. Now they say this is going to be ww3 unless there's a peace deal but they always leave out why and don't say that Ukraine now has 1.,260,000 active solders and 2,700,000 solders in reserve with around 860,000 on the front. Russia on the other hand has 1,500,000 active and 2,000,000 in reserve. It seems that if this keeps up then Russia will eventually be forced to switch from conventional methods to something else or admit Rus as being the mother country.
