I'm a teen. Let's start there. I feel like God has showed me my future husband only to have him slip through my fingers. I know for an absolute fact it was love. I've never quite wanted something so bad and deeply. I really don't know how to feel anymore and can only pray about it. Any advice?
Help please.

My advice- don't try to force anything, instead give it to God. I've had experiences in my life where I felt like God has given me a sign or something and it didn't come to pass like I'd hoped. We only know in part and sometimes it takes years to realize why something happened. Probably there's some things we'll never know. But we can't let it shake our faith in our Father.

Being a teen could mean 13 or 19, and each could get different responses.
What I've learned over many years is that it's easy to think we're hearing God when it comes to things we want. It doesn't seem uncommon that people suddenly find 'signs from God' to justify what they want.
I've done it in past relationships, even though, in retrospect, there was no way God was speaking to me about them. I just wanted it to be confirmed so I found myself looking for signs.
My guess is you've done the same thing. Or who knows, maybe God meant at a later time, if it was really even Him.
My best advice is to move on, learn from this event and don't be in such a hurry to find someone. And if one day you have, or think you have, don't rush or be so eager to take things as signs. Feelings aren't signs.
And the younger you are the more this is true.

Relax, Max. Or Maxine, rather. If God wants something to happen it will happen. Maybe God does not want this to happen. Or maybe the guy isn't ready for a relationship yet and God wants it to happen later, after the guy learns a few things. Or maybe you need to grow a little bit before you're ready for a relationship. Or maybe it will happen next week.
Either way, just take it easy. Life will happen the way it will happen. There's no use stressing about the future.
teenagers are very vulnerable to many vices. why? because they are new & teens have a high level of energy. seek wisdom from Jesus!!!!!!!! there is understanding, knowledge & wisdom. wisdom is the principle component. study & learn Proverbs 4:7! in fact, read the 1st 8 chapters of Proverbs, memorize all the key verses. HopinHim98 is totally correct. forced love is not love. experienced adults know all too much that teen dating & romance is just about impossible to control. seek out the advice of Jesus, your best friend & a pastor. dwell on your favorite interests & school subjects. discover what you like to laugh about & use that as medicine. blessings to you.

As far as God showing you who your future husband will be, but then having him slip through your fingers, I would say that if this is true (that he truly is the one God wants for you as your husband), then his slipping through your fingers will only be a temporary matter.
In the meantime, I would recommend carefully obeying the following, wonderful command (or admonishment), especially since it comes with such a wonderful/wondrous promise from God attached to it

p.s. - if you don't know how to begin (to "delight yourself in Him", that is), then the following passage should help you get started. Basically, start by remembering God throughout your day and then choose to make Him a part of it whenever you do, by looking for things (or people) around you to rejoice in and be thankful for, for great things (like something new that He has revealed to you in the Bible) and/or for even the simplest or smallest of things (for a kindness that someone has shown you perhaps, or even for something as simple as the feeling that you get when the sun or a balmy breeze warms your face). Eventually, you will find yourself rejoicing in and thanking for the things that seem bad to you (in the moment anyway), knowing that He causes ALL things to work together for good for all of us who are His children by adoption (e.g. Romans 8:28; Hebrew 12:7-11)
Oh, and try not to be overwhelmed by what this passage is telling us to do, as I believe that doing this, practicing the presence of God in our daily lives, that is, is something that takes time to get a handle on (a lot of time, for most, actually .. so, start small
).

The key to this (to properly understanding and obeying our half of v37) is found in 1. ALWAYS chasing after God and 2. NEVER chasing after any of the things that we think that we want from Him!Praying for you!

16 Rejoice always;
17 pray without ceasing;
18 in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
It's ok. Welcome to the beginning of your life. You do realise that love cannot be forced don't you. Just keep trying. It is not the end of the world. The first few times of heartbreak is hard. You will get used to it. If that person was meant for you, God will unite you with him.
If it is not too late,
1. Tell him how you feel to his face.
If he says no, take it like a woman and move on. He doesn't know what he is going to miss out on.
Always maintain your integrity and self respect. Don't undermine your self worth. You will find the man of your dreams if it is meant to be at God's time. Wait with patience. Pray
