You do understand there were borders in the Bible? And they were important and respected?

Proverbs 25:28 compares a person without self-control to a city without walls (borders), saying, “Like a city whose walls are broken through is a person who lacks self-control.”

Numbers 34:12“And the border shall go down to the Jordan, and its limit shall be at the Salt Sea. This shall be your land as defined by its borders all around.”

God gave Israel very specific borders and promised it to each new generation. Borders were kept and respected the same as we expect today.

Speaking of American politics, the only way any president can completely fulfill their tenuous campaign lies ((promises)) is to exert unchecked power over the congress and the courts - which is in and of itself a situation completely opposed to the constitution of the US....

the number one tenet of the foundation, constitution and governmental structure of the US is to prohibit and do everything possible to exclude absolute, king-like power being ever, ever, ever placed in any individual, sinful man - elected or otherwise.

Please remember and consider that as you continue to influence impressionable people in CC

Sad but true on the above sentiment.

Yet, I have done a fair amount of research this past year on "mass formation psychosis" (it is a true thing, think of cults, Germany and its adulation of Hitler, etc.,) intelligence will not always protect a person from falling into this state of delusion, but certainly a lack of information and critical thinking skills make people a prime target.

Sadly, it really is not easy to get people out of this state of mind, it truly is an "opening of the mind" to be rescued from this state, so you indeed captured the essence of the problem.

And btw, way I did actually study Augustine and Aquinas in my undergraduate philisophy classes, it was a Franciscan priest who taught those classes, he was profoundly intelligent.

@posthuman did much the same in posting his thoughts as you on this thread. He didn't follow his own rules. While he suggested others read their bibles and practice what is found there, he didn't follow his own advice in dealing with others in his posts. That's hypocritical behavior on his part.
